Blue devils are playing good ball. That said Riverdale offense was non-existent last night and for the last half of the season. While I tip my hat to the Blue devils for the win, I don't believe this game will be a nail-biter at all ... I think the real game should Oakland get past Maryville will be the Summit match up. That's the game I hope to see.
Riverdale's OC is terrible. He clearly doesn't understand simple run concepts by his commentary during the Blue Cross Games. Another example of how being a good player doesn't make you a coach and certainly not a play caller.

This thread started with ignorance and ended the same way. None of you had a freaking clue.

After 6 weeks, this continues to be one of the most ignorant threads ever unleashed on the T.
-
I heard Wade, Ingle Martin, Gary Rankin, Nick Saban, and Bill Belichick have all been contacted by the underground search firm. I'll keep everyone informed of the progress as this situation continues to develop.

This may be the most ignorant post/thread I have ever read on the T. Most likely started by someone from Goody or one of the Friendly Christians at FCS.

I'd say that Ensworth is getting what they deserve. They promoted a guy that had no business being a head coach at that level. Then said coach burns them a year later. Looks like Bowers and the admins screwed up by snubbing Wade. I'd say it will have to be one of Bower's boys because I can't imagine too many coaches that would want to put up with him.
What about the old DC that took the ECS job a few years back? He's one of Bower's boys.

Need to get a Full time AD. One who supports the Coaches.
Isn't the AD a former coach? You'd think a former coach and AD would be supportive.

Problems started way before all the coaching changes. Huge lack of direction and leadership in Seymour. Been that way for about a decade now.
Can you elaborate on what you mean? Which leadership is lacking?

Too bad for the young men and the community.

Two historically great programs. Unfortunately Portland is not going to be much of a contest for TC.

That's a big time opener on top of a tough region schedule. Anyone know how the search is going?

Can the Indians get a coach that brings them back to a winning record?

TKA
in Division II
Isn't that the story with Concord every year? Seems like the forfeit at least one game a year.
No doubt King's will draw a lot of interest from the Knoxville private school ranks. Question is can they pay enough to pull a good assistant from Webb, CAK, Catholic, etc. or a head coach from a public school?

How many kids from Seymour play for TKA? I'm not saying those kids would not have helped but Seymour just went 0-10. From following local FB in Knoxville, I don't see Seymour competing very well in the league they play in. Nothing against Galyon, I just don't see them having the horses in that community to compete on an annual basis. Kids want to win and their parents want them to have a good experience. TKA will most likely continue to be much more competitive in the league they play in.

Wow! Talk about going from hero to zero. Another coaching search and potentially entertaining thread has begun.

TKA

That makes two private school coaches in the Knoxville area the past two years bailing out for public school jobs. First GCA and now TKA. Usually not the norm. Does Lowe go to a better situation at Powell? I guess time will tell...

This has been a very odd search to follow. As entertaining as GCA's search last year. Everything from 6A coaches to MS coaches in the mix. How has this "always been a two man race"? Plenty have of accolades for Wade. Why does the name Dorris keep coming up? Nothing mentioned about his accolades or achievements. What happened to the 6A guy, etc...

I'm actually not upset with Webb being left out. We've got skill players all over the place and will still be the fastest team most schools see all year but unless we can address depth at the line I'm not sure we should be put in the top 3. It will be interesting to see if we can. My top 3 in order going into 2018.
1. Lausanne
2. CPA
3. ND
Meske is a better coach on his worst days than most coaches are on their best. He'll get the most he can out his kids for sure. IMO capable of beating any of those 3 on any given night but may not have the horses to beat all three in a season. If I'm one of those 3, I'd hope to avoid Webb in the playoffs.

Since there are ONLY 3 in Knoxville, I'll leave that shot alone. Webb and GCA lost a ton. We'll see who fares the best come fall. Both have weapons to be reckoned with. That other school is fallin' behind, no matter how many inspirational/motivational tweets the coaching staff can muster up.
I do agree with your top 3. No clue on the bottom 3 & don't care. Gotta beat the man to be the man......Webb is still top dog in Knox, until we beat them.
Booger knows who is good and who isn't! I'm just glad CPA or FRA will have to beat Lausanne to get to Cookeville next year. They are all going to be loaded with top talent. ND gets there until one of us knocks them off.
Ha, I walked into that one. That's like saying Catholic is going to be the best D2AAA team in Knoxville next year.

Cornersville High School Looking for Head Football Coach
in Class 1A & Class 2A

Why did the coach's son not attend Cornersville and play for his dad? Doesn't make much sense that he attended another school in the county.
