I know some middle school boys that came home fired up last night. They can't wait till Monday.

Who are some guys that Coach K would like to bring in at Forrest? I know his brother was at several our games last season as well as another guy who seemed like riverdale assistant. Are either of them likely candidates. I know in the past at Forrest we've had trouble finding teaching spots for coaches.

I doubt the new coach has time to read coacht. He seems like a busy focused guy on the sidelines. I'm sure he's that way in the off season weight room as well. Good luck to Summit and Forrest. Time for both programs to move forward.

Any chance that ADSD reaches out to ADCK to try and set up a game between these two schools in the near future? By looking at last year's scores it seems the two would be evenly matched.

Sad day for Forrest and the Chapel Hill community. Hard when you are betrayed by one of your own. Well if my source is truthful and I trust her to be then the holdup with k is that he's being made to feel by Coleman that he owes it to him to go with him to summit. My question is what good head coach would ever hold their assistants back from taking head coaching position?

No but the AD knows him fairly well.

I really don't know. Most of my info is coming from current players texting my kids and phone calls from other parents and supporters of the Forrest program.

Anybody wanna bet that he is following this thread closely? I'm sure when he found out that the community and players were trying to steal coach k the he got extremely nervous. Also now that he knows from reading this that he hasn't notified his current staff about his plans it won't take long for each of them to get a text now.
