AC should be able to put a run together with the sticks they have and if their pitchers can keep it around the strike zone.

Any thoughts on what this district tourney will look like this next week? Predictions?

Looks like the boys from Fgut can swing the sticks well, but I am positive Powell will see them on their home turf in the region. Powell will have to roll that loss to the side to prepare for HVA on Saturday.

Looks like the little sophomore did the job for Powell tonight. Steen threw the ball well, but I would have held him for a game that was a sure win. Gibbs and Powell tomorrow will be another great game I'm sure to decide if Gibbs can draw closer to that 1 spot.

Sounds like Powell will have a tough week ahead of them with the possibility of Steen being on the mound, but why would ORidge throw him to chance a game they may lose. They would be better to throw him against a lesser opponent for a sure win in district play. Just a FYI....Long is upper 80's and hits 90's when he needs to.

Go Panthers! Knocked C. Pack out in the first and never stopped the steam roller. Powell beat AC 12-0 in five.

Looks like Karns, Powell, and Anderson are the top three teams this year as of right now.Has any one heard much about this week's tournament play? Powell went undefeated in the warrior classic. Not sure about Karns or Anderson co.

Powell had DB on the ropes and fell to them 2-1 in the 5th inning when they jumped ahead on a first to third play.

Powell was red hot tonight and beat CC 14-1. We will see if they can put it to Anderson Co. on the road.

Powell will be tough to beat this season.
