What will the scenario be in the region semi's. I know we shouldn't look ahead but let's say Wartburg beats OS in their District C'Ship and Cosby beats Rockwood in theirs. Who would play who assuming all 4 advance to the region semi's?

Ok... that's why they just lost to OS and Rockwood at home.. I'm so tired of people getting on here talking about how awesome Wartburg is. I have no problem with Wartburg, but accomplish something before you talk about winning state titles

Unfortunately he is a Senior and yes he is a terrific player. Depending on how the region tournament seeding goes, there could be another good matchup in the semi's up in oneida

Rockwood 78 Wartburg 71 Rockwood shoulda won by 30. They were up by 20 in the 4th and were just playing stupid. The refs were awful both ways. Rockwood's best 3 guards all fouled out (Moffitt, Paraguay, Gilmore). They had to finish the game with a very inexperienced crew with Morgan the senior, Golphin the junior role player, and a freshman. Morgan came up big this game with a career high of 12. D.J. Shannon is wayyy overrated. Didn't show up either game against rockwood.

Good to see you back gomab. Where ya been? So is Weddle a lock for winning the award? I agree with Eldridge being a finalist he is the best class A player in east Tennessee. Dont know much about Currie. that's a bold statement, no love for van horn of grace, skogen of temple, or manning of cosby?

I haven't really seen much basketball from that region this year. Records aside, who are the 2 best teams?

It seems to me that it's a very good possibility that Region 2A will get 2 teams into state. The winner and finalist of the region 2A will go against the winner and finalist in region 1A in substate. In my opinion region 2A has 3 teams that would win region 1A (see Cosby, Rockwood, Wartburg). Cosby should win region 2A and cruise to state, but whether the finalist be Rockwood or Wartburg i feel they would win their substate game against the Region 1A team. The best team in Region 1A is Hancock Co. who is 8-0 in region play right now but just 14-10 overall. This shows me that 1A is an overall weak region. Anyone else agree?

King at Harriman and Coach K on the same level, are you serious? Look at all the talent King had this year and look at that teams record. Rockwood @ Cosby= Loss, i agree but... Any 1A school in the state @ Cosby = Loss You must be from Midway to have those kinds of opinions..

WOW!! you are sooo far off man.. I'll agree with the loss at Cosby, as you saw i had Cosby ranked ahead of Rockwood. But a loss at Midway? Coach K is an excellent coach. Best in Roane County

Rockwood beat Wartburg by 8 and it could've been a lot worse as Rockwood was 17/35 from the line.. Harriman with a record of 5-13 took Wartburg in to OT at Wartburg. Rockwood beat Harriman by 25 at Harriman... C'mon 1. Cosby 2. Rockwood 3. Wartburg 4. Oliver Springs 5. Midway 6. Harriman Get your head straight man!!!

The outcome of this game depends greatly on how Cosby is shooting the ball from the perimeter. At Rockwood they shot 11/19 from beyond the arc in a landslide victory. In that game Blakely only had 4. I have a feeling Rockwood will implant a different gameplan this time around. I'll take Cosby by 8

I do believe Cosby deserves #1 ranking in the state... You can't defend them.. If you try to pack it in and stop blakely you will get killed by the outside shooters, but if you don't double on Blakely then he will dominate the paint. Cosby has a big district game coming up against Rockwood on Friday.. Yes i know they blew out Rockwood at Rockwood earlier in the season, but they shot 11/19 threes that game. It'll be interesting to see what happens friday.

Actually Rockwood's Jv only has 2 Sophmores and 9 Freshman... I guess the ones you thought were sophmores were all freshmen

I heard Rockwood's jv beat up on Wartburg's by 15 or 20.. Do they not have any notable freshman
