    No, but you and I have known each other for a long time.  I know you, and if you come to any of the basketball games left, we'll talk about it.  I took down what I posted because it was ugly and I don't know anything about who would be the best coach.  Just ready to Haywood to get back in football.

     

    if you want to win and win now...then Hook is worth every penny that he "demanded" as you put it...maybe he wont have the whole city of Jackson recruiting against him either...open zone and all these days

     

    and this will be the reason they win...no one like NS to compete with for the talent in the area...Haywood has supposedly had tremendous talent for years...but running scrub coaches through there year in and year out since you folks pushed Stowe out...well lets just say you deserved the brand of football that you were putting on the field...buy in and WIN its that simple

  11. Jackson out as Haywood coach

    All I will say is Haywood County got capable coaches right there from Brownsville, one currently on the staff, that will play Haywood County football.  The problem is it's so corrupt down there.  They won't to win but only if you play their picks and cater to them.  That is a bad mix.  You put the ballers on the field and let them ball, plain and simple.  Haywood could form a whole staff with the coaches that have played and are from there and be very successful.  Sometimes the answer is right under your nose.

    Yeah, you may be coming to alamo.  That's why the GAME  is played.  Everyone thought Liberty would beat Dyersburg too.  CC and Trezevant haven't played yet, and it's a home game for CC.  They have been playing well, too.

    I would like to congratulate Crockett on a great season.  Unfortunately, like I predicted the Dyersburg scenario at Trezevant, will be Crockett's "Waterloo".  Johnny Jones will get his 100 yards barely, but Trezevant is too strong on defense to let 1 man beat them(look up how many points the defense have given up).  With a fair officiating crew, Trezevant wins 28-13.

    Do you not realize we beat Haywood 39-18? I know it was a very ugly first half, but came back and won. Liberty is a lot more explosive than Trezevant. Yes, Trezevant has a very physical defense, but if Dyersburg can score 20 they will win. I say 21-18. Go Trojans 

    Bart Stowe got a young team rolling right now.  The key word is young. If this was a year later maybe Dyersburg is competitive.  This is not Liberty but a very tough and physical North Memphis team.  It's gonna be cold, rowdy fans, young Dyersburg team, timid(even though they won't admit it) will equal a Trezevant win.  If you happen to pull off the miracle and win, I'll be the first to give you credit....how is that.

    Howard21, there is nothing wrong with talking trash and even better when you can backed it up. However there is a way to go about doing things sadly you don't seem to understand or at least you prefer to act our of sorts.  It has been presented to you very clearly that you are taking the what you called 'trash talking' to a new low.  Please do not further complicate or make others take you even less serious than we already do via your name calling. Exactly how old are you?  I find it hard that a grown man would depreciate himself as you have by calling posters names because we pointed out some very inappropriate things you said. 

     

     I think I said earlier games are won and lost on the field and if this site is not what you would have it to be perhaps you can start your own thread about the Dyersburg vs Trezevant game.  No I never played football my four sons did, but does not mean I should not have an opinion?  Seeing that you evidently played does that give you a rite of passage that you are the residential 'guru' on all that is football and what you say is what matters? .... I think not sir....You are evidently very young or very old and still living in the days of your former glory.  You say you don't have anything to lose with either team that may be true.   Perhaps, you are a fan of one of our opponents, someone that the Trojans and these are your words (put the wood to on more than one occassion, and since your team can't beat us, you figured you will jump on another horse). I encourage you to ride that mule to where ever it takes you, let's hope that it is somewhere that you can learn to be someone who acts with class and not a well (You know what rhymes with Class)............Goooo Trojans :motorbike:

    What rhymes with Class, and you calling me childish?  Dude you are not worthy of me commenting with you.  I need someone that's not in their feelings and don't mind a little "ribbing" without whining like a baby.  Did you get bullied back in school or something?  Just weak....lol.   Who made you "the police" of the boards. Please stop posting cause I'm roasting you and it's not even fun anymore.

    Nobody is on here talking nothing until you "warned" us that Dyersburg may be taken off the field tomorrow night. Maybe you meant it as trash talking but unless you are 15 years old you ought to know that's not a comment even worth making. If you are just a fan and know football then keep it at the level and not warn people that their players might get hurt.   I brought momma into the conversation cuz I am one and I'm fully aware of my son getting hurt anytime he runs on the field.  So momma has spoken and  that's enough of that.  I will agree with you that Dyersburg is a solid well coached team and wouldn't be in this game if they weren't.  For Trezevant and Dyersburg to be in this position for the 3rd straight year speaks volumes about both programs.  I'm gonna brave the cold tomorrow night and  support the Trojans.  I will also be praying for an injury free game for boys on both teams.

    No wonder we can't get a State Championship on the regular in West Tennessee.  Our boys are being spoiled by their mommas.  We never would have heard a reply like that from an Alcoa, CPA, Fulton, or Maryville fan.  Instead they would be saying, bring it....that's why they win State Championships...no whining in football.

    Thank you for the encouraging words Mr. Howard, those are words for the locker room bulletin board..for sure Coach Stowe.....Oh by the way you do know what happened to Haywood in that game correct, since you seem to be such a 'prodigy' of that particular game?  I hope that is the same thing that happens to you on Friday night.  One request when we leave Memphis with the victory take it like men and show some good sportsmanship, that was one aspect of last weeks game that Liberty showed.  When the game was complete players and fans from both teams were not mouthing and belittling one another we were both congratulatory of how hard both teams played.  This is something I have not always seen happening from the Shelby county fans after a loss, especially to a opponent that they deem lesser than them.  Nor have I seen much of that (solace) attitude coming from the Golden Bears Group here.  Only how bad you are going to beat us or injure a player.   I admire people who support their team, but when we take it to the level of hurting people..... Nahhhhh just not my thing.  That happens I know, but when people want to boast about doing it.... I just say suppose that was your kid or better yet YOU.

     

    In case your prediction does not get fulfilled, I hope we will see you on Saturday morning here  and hopefully with  your foot in your mouth .... please  no bragging (I am sure  that will be the case if you should win).  However, in case we :popcorneater:    lose there will be someone from the Trojan nation to say "great game".  Just like your team take winning to another level...... we try to take having class to another level..... try it sometimes you might like it.

     

    The  D'burg Trojan's..... are never scarced that is one thing you can count on.  We are well coached and leave it all on the playing field.

    Oh, you must be one of those guys that drive your motorcycle on the field in front of the team....that's real cute.  Like I said I'm not a Trezevant fan, nor live in Memphis.  I don't foresee any safety issues for the players or fans after the game is over.  People at Trezevant know how to act and respect the game.  I have played there, coached there, etc..all as an opponent of theirs and never had problems.

    You guys are on here talking like Dyersburg play Big Boy defense like they Johnny Badd or something.  The truth be told they are a solid well coached team, nothing more nothing less.  I am not a fan of either team, just know my football.  So, stop the crying and whining, by the way if you can't take a little trash talking you must have never played the game or were just a "bench rider".  No one is on here is saying to intentionally hurt kids, but if it's cold and hard hittting somebody will get dinged, that's just the facts.  This is what happens when you actually get in a football game and participate at this level....oh, I'm sorry, you guys know nothing about that.  You are just football forum board writers. Did you bring momma into the conversation? oh my goodness... lol

    This won't even be close.  Trezevant will win easily.  This is the same Dyersburg team that was scared to death of Haywood's big physical defense that they laid the ball on ground 6 times in the first qtr!!  I know they are not hoping for rain or bad weather, just saying.  North Memphis will send you back up Hwy 51 with your tails tucked between your legs.  I've seen both teams play and Trezevant D is meaner, more physical and way better than a Haywood D that had you guys on the ropes.  Dyersburg is good but Trezevant is on another level.  You said Raleigh Egypt were being taken off the field, that may be Trojans tomorrow night, don't say I didn't warn you.

    Who would be a good fit at Head Coach for Lane College in Jackson?  Let me get the ball rolling with my two picks.

     

    Martez Edwards

    Steve Hookfin

     

    I picked these two because the community know these gentlemen well and they can generate excitement for the program on Day 1.  Both have the influence to draw quality players from the area to come play for Lane.
