35-14 final. HC took foot off the gas when it got 35 to nothing.
Wrong thread.

Big 3rd quarter. 41-20 start of 4th quarter

Same could be said about most other counties across the state…. You don’t think Rutherford, Williamson, Davidson, Knox counties combining their schools would have the same outcome?

write it down, mark my words, etc. Cavs move on.
Listen, that is great that the stars decided to play Beech and get drilled. Good for them. And they hung in there with Hendersonville. Well done.
Aren't they on their backup QB?
Cavs by fiddy
Hendersonville played them earlier in the year when they were full strength. Since then they have lost their QB and other key pieces. I agree Cavs win

Is the Hendersonville QB healthy?
Yes, He will play

Felt like commandos had Over 200 penalty yards. 2 weeks from now, stuff like that will end your season.

Springfield had 4 turnovers with 3 of those being in the red zone. 2 interceptions in the end zone and both of those Springfield had the ball inside the 10 yard line. It’s tough to win when you have a 4-0 turnover ratio. 8 would have helped Hendersonville in the second have, but I think Springfield still wins the game if not for the turnovers. Our defense contained 8 really well last night. The only way that he made a difference is the long ball. He has a cannon. He only connected on 2 and one of those was at the end of the first half with under a minute on the clock to go up 21-7. Hendersonville plays dirty and talks a lot. I’m glad we are in the same region. I can’t wait to play them next year. Payback is coming. Mark it down.
Delusion. We must’ve watched a different game.

I was surprised at the number of HHS penalties last night. If you take away the yards on the two big plays that we had, HHS may have gifted us more yards in penalties than our offense gained
Penalties have been a constant battle all year long. At some point.. it’s got to change.

Springfield gave this game away last night.
Don’t really think Springfield gave it away as much as Hendersonville was just better.
If baker doesn’t go down in the second quarter that game is at bare minimum a 35-7 or 42-7 type game in the second half.
Outside of the first play of the game which was Springfields lone score and the long screen pass that didn’t end in points, Hendersonville defense pretty much dominated.
24 is a play maker. Gotta find ways to keep the ball in his hands

keep an eye out for that Shelbyville game to be a blowout. This week the separation from 2-4 really takes place. Imo Wilson Central is not a good team, Green Hill is average. Lebanon and Gallatin appear to be fairly equal in talent level… with MJ as the favorite for now.
Think you’re spot on

I don’t think it’s downplaying, I think it’s we just don’t know. Brentwood beat Blackman, the BA, and destroyed Hendersonville. Blackman is way down. BA is supposed to be really good but haven’t shown it yet. And how good is Hendersonville? A 14 point win in a shootout with Gallatin, an 54 point blowout over Clarksville NE, and a 37 point loss to Brentwood. Obviously Brentwood is better than Hendersonville’s first two opponents, but how good are they? It’s just been all over the board.
I will start off by saying that Brentwood is a better team, no doubt about it. They will have a chance to play in Chattanooga this season.
I’m trying to phrase this as best as possible without sounding like someone making excuses.. because like I said, they are the better team and outplayed Hendersonville. But as far as this previous week, the score of that game is much worse than it should’ve been. Some things happened in the second half where it really spiraled on Hendersonville. They turned the ball over in their own territory, bad snaps-one for a safety, blew a coverage on a trick play, multiple dropped passes to continue drives. Just overall very sloppy performance. I do believe Hendersonville has a good team with the chance to be very good as the season goes on. If they can learn from and correct their mistakes, they will be stronger from this embarrassing loss.
The game without those self inflicted errors would’ve been much more competitive. I believe Hendersonville still had around 250 yards. Just didn’t execute well enough to convert into points.
Henry County keeps this close and will have a shot at the end if they can play a clean game.

I’m sure this will be a very competitive game. Hendersonville fell apart at the seems late in the 3rd quarter last week and it snowballed.

What have you heard?
Heard he was banged up last week. Did he play the whole game?

Riverdale Quarterback out?
-
Can the Bison travel to White House and make this a game? I believe so.. I think this is a tight one all the way through and beech gets a 4th quarter score to get out with the win. SC is very veteran at some key spots and I feel like they will compete just fine with the buccaneers.
Final prediction is Beech 27 - SC 20

Excited for this one! Week 1 against your oldest rival- doesn’t get much better than that.
I will give my thoughts and predictions later in the week. -
Heard Hendersonville has a few starters out today at some key positions. Next man up! Interested to see how this team plays coming off of last year. have heard some good things so far but will wait and see.
I look forward to this scrimmage every year. MJ always accommodating
