Surprised the Jackson Sun picked Dyersburg to be in the rankings even though we are a district team, it always in my opionion appear to be at the top of their agenda to exclude this area in everything except selling of their papers daily.. I cannot understand a newspaper that sells it newspaper in a county that they do not include in West Tennesseee sports news. The Jackson Sun in most cases does not write about Dyersburg and other teams in this area. Their philosophy of West Tennessee includes teams from Madison, Gibson, Weakly, Crockett, Haywood, Hardin, Fayette, Carrol, or other county teams in their controlled area. Although Dyersburg is excluded in their honors presented yearly they continue to distribute their newspapers to a location they in many case pretend is not there in there defense I suppose if we did not buy them that would not be the case....

Everyone was thinking last week that JCM would be too fast. The youth that D'burg had would not be able to keep up with the Cougars. JCM quarterback was back and our defense was young and in experienced. Dyersburg will always put a good team on the field and they know how to win...... Trojans are ready......

Very early in the season for both teams still figuring out stuff. Last week both Haywood and Dyersburg had big wins as of now not very sure as to the quality of that competition. Base off what we know about the Tomcats as usual this will be a battle, a reminder that the Trojans have not forgotten the upset last year on their field, how sweet it will be for Coach Stowe to get the big pay back in Brownsville this Friday night.
