I think he is great in hoops too and he may end up going that route but as a hoops player their are many 6'4 wing players (maybe not around here) but they are much more common than a 6'4" WR with 4.5 speed who can jump out of the roof to go get the ball. That's rare and why he is obviously in very high demand already without even being listed in rivals database yet.

He has grown a lot since last year.. To me- he looks like he's grown at least 3 Or 4 inches

I think that Tee could play any position... And He is even better at B ball . He has some tough decisions to make

I liked Scott Blade. I thought he was a great football coach. I am soooooo greatful that my son gets to play for Joe Gaddis and staff. So, the following is distasteful, but I'll let everyone draw there own conclusions. From newspaper and television reporting:

You better believe it was a tough decision this past summer for former Canyon High football defensive coordinator Scott Blade to leave his beloved Cowboys for his first head coaching job – all the way across the country at Hillsboro High in Nashville, Tenn.

 

So Blade was an ASSISTANT at Canyon (5 years) and left prior to the 2006 season.

Division I Championship: Canyon (11-2) vs. De La Salle (13-0)

This state title game was played on December 16, 2006. Scott Blade was the Head Coach at Hillsboro on that date.

 

Interview with Canyon Head Coach Harry Welch:

Signal: You've been doing this a long time — 18 years at Canyon. Of all the victories in your career, when you beat Concord De La Salle in the state championship game, was that one the most special?

Welch: It was the most significant. Every one is very special. Each year (throughout) the 18 years I've been the head coach at Canyon High School — each year had its own identity, and there are young men on each of those teams that I admire completely and know that they'll be great contributors to our community. Every one of them has given a whole lot.

But winning the first state championship in 79 years is historic. It rallied the entire community together. It certainly made Canyon High School and the Cowboy Football program feel just terrific. The resonance of this victory was felt throughout the state. I've gotten feedback from people from across America. It was historic, in the small world of high school football. But this probably will be the most significant.

 

Enough about his two titles in two states!

Of course he did and all games but two. To be honest, he played more varsity ball his freshman year than you did your whole life. Thanks for asking. Now, a piece of serious advice, don't EVER mention my son again.

Remember the wah, wah, wah when I said "no starters" played in the second half against Powell. That guy kept on and on about Brandon Bonds playing ONE play in the second half. If I wasn't correct to the nth degree, I was wrong. And I was. My son used to argue with me like that. He was six at the time.

Hey you were the one who said Blade didn't have any D1 players at OR while he was here and that he just took a bunch of "ragtag" players to the semis. I was just pointing out that he did and proved you wrong.

oh no then, they were loaded in 2009. I stand corrected.

I can't believe I'm getting in this garbage but....Ranger whoever you are let's look at Div. 1 players, I think OR has 4 or 5 eventual Div. 1 players in the next couple of classes. Now FBS players the number should be 3. Higgins already offered (UNC); Middleton already offered (UT) and I'm betting from the games I hear the kicker (I don't know his classification) will be one. They have a QB that may get a shot (good skill set; lack experience and game knowledge). A head coach is more than just x and o. Blade is a good X and O guy but Gaddis is one of the best at building programs. Look at the stands, look at the excitement around the city, they went to semi-finals and I bet you could find many people that knew their record or the year they went. I have no dog in this fight but I would love to get back to read about a good Oak Ridge team getting ready for a good AC team.

 

Blade/Ranger or whoever you are, answer this. How good did you think this team would be after Blade left and lost all those talented seniors? Go back and read your post.

No problem Nole... It was funny at 1st what R7 was doing but now it's annoying and childish to ruin every OR thread... His obsession is kind of scary and I don't judge anyone because I don't care but it seems like someone has a mancrush on blade...

If we want to get technical Blade did have a D1 prospect @ OR when he got here in 2009 in O L Jose Valedon who went to Vanderbilt.

I'm saying that having two D1 prospects does NOT equal a championship. Independence proved that last year and they are proving it again this year! Eh....

No, it can't be true since Independence had two last year and didn't win it, and they have four this year and won't win it! So all you have to do is look at Independence and you'll know that it can't be true. Respond to that!! You'll ignore it...that's your style. You can dish it out but you can't take it...so you ignore it! Eh....

I'm really sorry for all of the victories here at OR while Gaddis has been coach. I'm sorry for the championship and the current 9-0 record. Since you didn't respond I thought I would apologize again! Eh.....

when was the last championship? Were any of the current players born yet?
