I’m gonna go with Aville in this one. Good luck to both teams.

If Trenton was at home I think I would have no question as to the outcome. However, with UC wanting to get the losing taste out of their mouth, it will probably be a close game. With yalls rivalry now it reminds me of the old days when Huntingdon/MILAN always played twice a year or Huntingdon/UC for that matter. Those were the days. I’m jealous. Anyway- I’m still gonna go with Peabody in a close one in the regular season matchup.

If not for little brother at Bruceton ole Cliff Sturdivant would have lasted over here a few more years!

I couldn’t live around Cornersville long with that dang Sundrop and RC Cola.

Geez two games in and ready to compete against Alcoa!!Good gracious you all got beat by Cornersville last year and "shouldnt" so lets let it play out for a while before you challenge Maryville.
Surely your smart enough to interpret that these are not Mustang fans making these predictions?

So who would be willing to come out and say Huntington will win it this year?
Nobody bro! We still got lots of room for improvement. Proud of them tonight but we have to have that same intensity and commitment to smart football. HuntingDon btw. Congrats on a big win to the Tide as well.

I won't call Waverly a heavyweight. They have no defense or offensive line.GB is tough.
Yeah agreed. Sorry Tiger fans your defense is worse than last year. Not as much quickness. You don’t wanna hear it but #11 needs to be playing both ways. He and JD Dixon are MEN.
-
Waverly answered my question anyway. They don’t quit. And Stanfield is an absolute warrior.
-
35-7 12:00 to go in half.
-
Good offensive series by Waverly. 21-7
-
21-0 now we will see what Waverly is made of.

McKenzie is down this yr just like camden is thats why I say we will learn a lot tonight. Waverlys defense is still suspect until a true test which will be tonight. The offense is on point so you still have to out score them. If waverly gets some stops tonight which I think they will they will come up with a win. I think the outcome of this game will all depend on the tigers defense.
I believe the game will depend on turnovers. Both teams are gonna get their yards. Should be a dandy.

I'm going to make this one Friday night. Haven't seen TCA since summer. Peabody, honestly while the most athletic team I have seen all year seem undisciplined and a little soft to me. They made enough mental errors in the first half of the htown game they could have easily been down 28 at the half. On the other hand they definitely have the speed to stick to receivers and be disruptive to TCA passing attack especially coming off the edge. I think the winner of this game brings home the gold ball. No offense to Adamsville either. No predictions here just entertain me! Lol

theoretically they do this to try to keep from getting beat deep, play the outside shoulder and turn the receiver inside- which would be ok if we weren't blitzing linebackers every play. Nobody is there to cover the middle. And also if we EVER deployed a deep safety. Our corners play this technique but bite on play action every time and get beat deep anyway. Like I said horrible technique. Case in point Friday night 3rd and 19 I think. You would think the one thing we would not be playing is one on one press coverage. But we are. We have a linebacker locked on the tailback but he bites on the fake hand off. Tailback out of the backfield on a pass pattern for 70 something yard touchdown. Was it our players fault for biting on the fake? Or was it the coordinators fault for running such a stupid coverage scheme in that situation? No deep help, no room for error. I just threw up in my mouth thinking about it again! Why do Huntingdon's corners line up on the outside shoulder of the receivers? Then turn in and face the ball stirring into the backfield.

Sadly I agree with you. I watched our running backs carry the ball like a loaf of bread all year long. Anybody who didn't see that fumble Fri night coming with the way the ball was being carried was blind. 2ndly our defensive backs have 0 technique in pass coverage. Neither of these issues were ever fixed this season. As a matter of fact they haven't been fixed over a few seasons. Makes you wonder if our coaches don't spend too much time on offensive formations and blocking schemes and exotic defensive shifts and blitz packages and let the basics fall through the cracks. I'm not knocking the players, they have to be taught.I guess you two will be arguing this time next year,on who should be playing. Because I don't see next years team making it any further than this years team.
