several have hinted at this. apparently some think the new coach is a done deal, they are just waiting to announce. its possible this person is still involved in the playoffs.

Home grown coaches have been winners... stay that way.

Kriesky only recent outsider who has won... Moosey and ES have not

Need to connect with community, and grassroot this thing.

Things to get excited about next year- potentially

    1. A NEW COACH
    2. The lines being a year stronger and bigger
    3. Cantrell having better guidance and maturing- hats off to him for what he did this year.
    4. The freshman, 1, 32, 38, and more, becoming sophomores
    5. Grissom healing.
    6. Another year of Eli Bell.
    7. A winnable region with the right players in the right places and a better scheme and in-game coach
    8. Not seeing players get underutilized and mis-utilized.

    Candidates?

MJ has been awful a while, so has WCS.  Cookeville is class and will run to the semis, and Lebanon is an easy out, and not a team any decent team should worry about, undiciplined, selfish, and already imploding under the massive ego of the players and coach.

LOL… may wanna keep coaches from going after officials in out of state tourneys.

  4. Meigs Coach really classy telling the Forrest kids the refs gave em the game... Grow up... Meigs kid punching the Forrest kid after the final horn... Even classier... Meigs kid poking Wild in the eyes under the pile... Bush league and gutless... TSSAA has video... Will be some punishment laid down... I've never seen more backwoods bush league in over 30 years... Pitiful

  5. Taylor was offered by Wake Forest because he has the build and possibilities to grow into a physical specimen. I hope the kid does great in Winston Salem. Slatton Wild is another good player that should get a chance at some of the lower level D1 schools. At one time MTSU had a lot of interest in him. Is this still the case?

  6. Forrest runs this region the next 4 years. They pounded Eagleville Middle by 7 touchdowns this fall. Eagleville talent has spiraled. Good job for someone though- pay insurance facilities are good. I think there's sonething else to this. It will come out sooner or later. I personally think Tollett runs a good school. Look at there other coaches in the building, particularly basketball, all are long tenured and haven't really been at the top of their league a lot lately.
