Lausanne won it all last year.
I would think Knox Webb from East Tn would be back. It looks like they have reloaded with some transfers.
Goodpasture from Middle Tn should definitely be a favorite to win it all. They are loaded with young talent and one of the best sophomores in Tennessee.
Memphis is always strong just not sure who will come out of there this year.
West is the only young talent that will score much.

If Goodpasture doesn't win it all this year it will certainly come as a surprise. They have the best sophomore in the state and, imo, have the best floor general at PG. Ezell and Nashville Christian are both weak, but it was an all out assault for GP in both games... 71-25 after 3 (ezell) ... 90-15 after 3 (Nash Christian)
Goodpasture has 2 senior guards and fantastic sophomore. The big guys are young so most of the scoring will come from the guards. That was Nashville Central Christian which is a homeschool team not Nashville Christian. The pg is gonna play Dll ball imo. The other senior guard is the QB for football team.

I guess the question is how different a team is Goodpasture than the team that lost 36-0 to CPA just 1 month ago?
Well they lost another defensive starter Friday night so that won’t help. It’s going to be tough for the offense to score 4 or 5 TD’s unless CPA is turning it over. Nobody has scored 4 offensive TD’s against them. That first game was 3-0 CPA at the half and Goodpasture got stopped at the 1 early in the game. CPA just wore them down with size and depth. I mean you have a roster of probably 80 and a roster of 30. Games are played between the lines so we’ll see Friday night.

Goodpasture has the athletes, they just don’t have the size and depth that CPA does. More than likely CPA and Lipscomb but that’s why you play the game.

Lausanne out with COVID-19... I was hoping to watch them play Lipscomb.
Wow, might take a miracle to finish the playoffs.

Back to 2A. Are you referencing the CAK/CPA game? Thinking CPA by 10 to 14 points depending on turnovers?
CAK is not a lock to be in that game. I was speaking of CPA and Lipscomb if they play in championship.

CPA will win it by 14+. There’s no way that team makes the mistakes they made from their 1st meeting again.
If they don’t turn it over then yes I’d say they win a close game. 10 or less imo.

All this arguing over nothing. On top of that this was a thread about 2A not 1A.

I watched some of CCS game Friday and was very impressed. I thought the might give CPA a good fight.
Would be a blood bath.

CCS having to forfeit because of virus outbreak. CPA moving on.

I guess you are predicting an all Middle final 4. That would be quite the showing for middle TN.
I’m predicting three from middle. BGA game could be close imo. I also think Goodpasture game will be close but I’m gonna roll with them on this one.
-
It’s funny everyone thinking CAK can win it all. Middle region is gonna win it. Most likely CPA or Lipscomb. CAK will have a hard time beating Goodpasture.

Will CAK/Chattanooga Christian or ECS/Lausanne/BGA have a say in that? What's the most likely upset?
CAK will lose to Goodpasture Friday night imo. Lausanne/ Lipscomb will be interesting. I haven’t seen Lausanne in person but they have some athletes I hear.

I was talking about Dll- ll A but whatever.

Booger gonna start the prediction thread this year?

The Hawks of Green Hill have improved each week! Not a slouch
Stratford, York, and Giles are terrible.

Notre Dame must be pretty bad if this game is in question.

Thoughts?

That makes no sense, a class with 16 teams? Lets make a 100 classes so everyone can get a title.
So you don’t think any teams will ever get added to Dlll?

Rubs better than average hire in face.
Humility goes a long way.
Wasn't as good as I was expecting for Goodpasture considering the names thrown out, and of those that turned it down. Maybe he can get the program turned around. Not sure if I care anymore though if it's people like you and RP representing the school.

Certainly appears to be a good hire. No way anyone can convince me that others were not considered and talks had. I have it on good authority the tires were kicked on Quinn and Wade and Haywood was a strong candidate but that fell apart. No matter what, there are tons of great coaches out there and many to choose from. It looks as if GCS may just have one of those now too. Congrats and best of luck!
Big question for me which will impact how successful this can be is the assistant coach situation. Does he get to hire any or is he required to work with what is currently on staff? I would hope he gets at least 1, preferably 2 hires to put a staff together.
Of course other coaches were considered and interviewed.

Where’s all the experts at now?

Hire will be announced tomorrow. Goodpasture is getting a solid coach who has done a great job in his 2 stops thus far.
Great hire imo. Impressive job by Coach Dearing getting her guy.

I like the hire, think he’ll fit in well over there.
