1. QUOTE(Bear22 @ May 4 2007 - 03:24 PM) 826451873what happened?

    M. Deere took a dive at the end of the game and the RB keeper got a red card for it. M. Deere was laughing about it at the end of the game. Really funny stuff!

  2. Okay Owlsbaseball, you must not have read what I said. I said DT is one of the best sophmores in the city. Maybe the best, I don't know? How is this a put down? Is DT at the same level as Kit Brady or Bach, no. I think Daniel would agree.

As for playing in a tough district, the only competition in the district is Soddy and Red Bank. I know the Owls lost in the playoffs to RB 1-0 and lost a game to Soddy 1-0, so I don't know where the 12 goals came from, but it wasn't tough district competition. You point to his speed and field awareness, but most of the other players listed on this thread have those skills. DT will be an elite HS player, but he is not there yet.

Is DT one of the best 3-4 guys his district - yes

Does Baylor have at least 3 guys better than DT - yes

Does McCallie have at least 2 guys better than DT - yes

Does DT still get knocked off the ball because of his size - yes

Does Gary Tackling get knocked off the ball because of his size - no

Believe it or not, size does matter in soccer.

  3. Daniel Fagins isn't even the best player on his own team, Daniel Tackling is better than him. Derek Wieldrayyer from CCS is one of the most talented player in the city. He is a dangerous player whatever position he plays.

I think it is Bach. It is not Daniel Tackling. DT is one of the best sophmores, but there are a lot of Juniors and Seniors better than him. Tackling needs to gain size before I would put him in the elite group. Kit is the best Junior and the fastest player in the city. I would rank them this way:

    1. Bach

    2. Johnson

    3. Brady

    4. Andrew Gamble

  4. Notre Dame had a very good year last year and they only lost four seniors from a very deep team. They moved down to Class AA. How do you think they will do.

ND will run the table in AA. They lost some key players, but their bench was loaded! They have no business in AA soccer.

  5. i meant PSA was the only U-19 club team left in chatt town

    825655594

The U16 ER team finished 2nd in the state (D2) in there first year together. I think they will go D1 this year.

  6. Warren County sends the ball into the corner on every attack. If you have seen them play, the attackers know the ball is going to the corner and the midfielders send it to the corner without looking. If you take away the corners, Warren County has no offense.

  7. 1. Notre Dame

    2. McCallie

    3. Baylor

    4. Soddy-Daisy

    5. CCS

    6. Ooltewah

    7. Grace

    8. McMinn Co.

    9. CSAS

    10. Red Bank

Red Bank beat CSAS 3-1 last year. They had about 13 kids see real playing time and 11 of them are back (the two that graduated were good role players, but not difference makers). I think Baylor is ranked 19th nationally, so I think they have to start #1. Ooltewah lost a lot of senior and will be good, but not as good as last year. Notre Dame is one year from being great and McCallie will be solid again. Here is my top 10:

    1. Baylor

    2. McCallie

    3. Notre Dame

    4. Soddy-Daisy

    5. CCS

    6. Red Bank

    7. McMinn

    8. Grace

    9. Ooltewah

    10. CSAS
