It was a nail biter. The district is in the hands of Waverly right now. It's not over by any means though. Two games left for both teams and it will come down to matchups. If Fairview or Hickman beats Waverly Camden wins district but if Waverly wins out they will win the district. Anything can happen. Look what Stewart did to Lewis tonight and the comeback Fairview had against Hickman. Mistakes and a good team cost Camden this game. Excuses can be made and blame levied but Waverly played a very good game and won. Congrats

Well I thought we were talking about the play where Waverly Center snapped the ball so far over the Punters head that he couldn't catch the ball resulting in Lewis getting the ball on the 5 yard line, resulting in the winning TD for Lewis. But I guess one of us got off subject. That's OK though, I'm not concerned with the Lewis Co defense because I'm not a Lewis Co fan. You are about to see the Defense I am concerned about tonight. When the game tonight is over the you can rant and rave on about Waverly offense or lack there of whichever occurs.

I know Waverly center personally and I guarantee you he was not rattled. The was slippery (like it was all night) and Krez couldn't get it. Lewis County has a hard time admitting it was wet. The have completely forgotten that it was wet along with the Camden fan that were there. But it's not supposed to be wet tomorrow. Your gonna see Waverly in full swing tomorrow. #BWTP.

He couldn't get it because it was centered so high that he barely got his finger tips on it. just enough to keep it from going into the end zone. Why do I know this? I was standing at the fence right behind the end zone and saw for myself how high it was. Had absolutely nothing to do with being wet. The field was damp but no one was slipping or sliding all night long. Absolute no plays were hampered by a wet field.

The game between Lewis and Waverly was nip and tuck all the way. What won that game was Lewis defense. The defense really stepped up in the last few minutes of the game. Can't say for sure but I think the center for Waverly was a little rattled on the snap to the kicker that gave the ball to Lewis on the 5 when the game was almost over. The defense really got after Waverly at the end of the game. Both teams played a good offensive game all night. It was exciting because the game was never a runaway by either team. It was a good game.

I assume our 2nd lost will be Camden?

I know you won't finish 9-1. You will be very lucky to finish without 4 losses. Pretty sire you'll lose Friday night. Don't think you will get by Hickman and pretty positive you wont beat Fairview. What you did the first five games was against the bottom of the pile in any district. you're not playing the bottom you're last 3 games my friend.

Could anyone give me a web address where I can get the game. Out of town and would love to get the stream. Was by the Waverly school yesterday and they had sight that you could go to and watch it. would really appreciate it. So glad everyone weathered the storm.

Camden you better hope it rains Thursday and Friday if you want it to be a "run away"
