Why did PC go down in classification? 

Look I'm a Fairview guy, but I think this is going to be a hard game to pull out. The one thing I do know about the Jackets is the are going to come and give you what they got. Just don't come out slipping or it will be over Firebirds. I know you guys think it will be a walk in the park and you guys do have more athletes but I can guarantee you will know you played them regardless the score. They will hit you and pound on you and if you have any quit they will find it.

Other than 1st play jitters this wasn't even a game. Giles didn't get off the bus. I was hoping for an epic battle that everyone was talking about in the past. I wasn't in Fairview those days.

I know about the James situation. It looks very deceitful from the outside looking in. I'm not involved but I know what I've heard. 

I haven't heard about the 2 players that live in Hickman county. Do they actually live there or is this just more coach t gossip? 

 

This is coach t gossip. They live inside the city of Fairview, but it's close to the county's line.  The have a nice home on a farm there. It's legit.

Nighthawk did you forget this is a Fairview team who played with a Ravenwood team. Fairview has all the talent to give Giles all they want. This will be a tight game.

I agree the Fairview QB did play good. 

Fairview done just enough to beat Stratford. Stratford was very undiscipline. Jumped about every time Fairview went on a hard count. 

Fairview don't have a good record against Giles. I think this is the best chance for them to beat thim.

If Fairview don't come out with better intensity than Fridays game, we are in trouble. 

We can't leave points on the field either. Fairview got to the red zone multiple times and didn't capitalize. Don't get cute and pass the ball when you got couple of the best rushers in the conference #8 #1 and #21

sportsnerd you have taken mr postman to heart and its only Saturday. once again some foolish person actually thinks a high school team is out to hurt someone. Just to let you know our team is full of fellow Christians that takes nothing for granted like some. our kids are very grateful to move on to play the second round of the playoffs to play you or any of the other teams that are left. CPA is the dirtiest cheap shot taking foul mouth team I ever played against or watched. The year we played them they won but it wasn't with Christian class. They need to play DII but they know they aren't capable. Do they are like the bully who breaks the rules.

You have no idea what's coming. You will be lucky to keep it that close in the first half. CPA is as good as most 6a teams.

Just who was taunting? Are you referring to #63 for Fairview on the kickoff when he was pointing at our stands and waving like bring it on or when #24 was talking trash on our sidelines

63 Was waving at someone he knew I'm sure and 24 was congratulating his westmoreland opponent. But they was not throat slashing the sidelines #16 or flexing at coaches #78. Hey it's purely my OPINION! You just wait tho you will see some dirty Christians this weekend. They will give you all you want of being some jerks. Look westmoreland I'm pulling for you. I HATE CPA! They are cowards who should be in DII but don't have the sack to do it. One of these days TSSAA will do the correct thing and separate them.

The only cheapshots I saw thrown last night were from black and yellow jerseys. Last season Fairview had a fan come to our sideline in the first quarter of the game that had to be removed by force. Fireworks were shot at our players even after y'all won the game as well as a loud speaker on a truck talking trash to them.

I'm not sure what game you was at but we don't have any fan with a loud speaker ever. Not sure about a fan but that's out of the teams control. I'm talking about kids playing that's what can be controlled. in my opinion is that westmoreland was a nasty team as I also said I LIKED IT. Only thing they did I don't like is taunting other sidelines and fans.

In my opinion Fairview lost with class. Westmoreland is known to be nasty, but hey I like it between the whistle not after. I don't like it when kids get up and taunt opposing sidelines. I think Zimerman hurt fairview with his play a little this year not the Zimerman I have seen in the past. It may be injuries I'm not sure. Fairview also needs to get their identity of pound it football back. Caldwell does ok but not that fast hit the hole physical running back they need. I know he is just a sophomore and hope that he develops into that guy. Fairview will be a loaded team for the next couple of years and they won't be a a first round and out team. They will not be a good draw next couple years. Fastest kids on the team are freshmen Nordozi # 22 and Harris not sure his # running in 4.5 range and physical.

Westmoreland is the best team Fairview has played this year IMO.

I agree not the most athletic team they played. These guys just line it up at you and punch you in the face. I love this style of football. Eagles I think you will give CPA a good game. Press their recivers and play man go after them. I will be pulling for you guys all they hope you go to state.

#78 was all over the field on the defensive sid. e of the ball. Good job young man

78 was a beast but was disappointed in his sportsmanship. At the end of the game he wouldn't shake hands with fairview. But good luck westmoreland very well played.

Probably a good idea since it won't be a game anyway. Save your seven bucks and go get your (tooth) cleaned. I'm sure fairview will dominate you like they have the past decade.

umm! kind of thought it was Waverly vs Fairview. did we not drive in the 2nd half? guess your the pro. obviously i missed the game. can you give me the breakdown?

Fairview gave them the short field all night they got every kickoff at there 40 or 50 all night. Fairview only punted a few times. They also got the ball at the end of the game with 1:30/40 and could have put another score on the board. Held the big powerful wavo to 7 measly points and a linebacker mistake taking motion across the field gave them that. Read the paper look at the stats tell me how close of a game it was. Fairview caused all those defensive plays. Total domination!

Waverly needs to run number 5 more to win. They need to get 10 the ball. They need to get in some double wing or power ever so often and pound it. I hope wavo wins.

first half i agree. very even matchup on the line with speed. hot was open tho first half. coach mc lit a fire at half and the line gave him plenty of time in the 2nd half. turnovers was our downfall last nite.

What game was you watching? Second half wasn't any different from first half.

They looked good but Camden isn't scared of them and wouldn't be even if we played tomorrow ..sorry...Please don't act like Fairveiw dominated Waverly .The Yellow Jackets played a good game and won. Thats it. Turnovers were a huge factor. Waverlys biggest flaw is the pass defense and lack of a pass rush Zimmerman and the Jackets were the perfect team to expose that.

 

To Beat the Jackets you have to cut off the head Zimmerman thats how Camden beat them.. it always about match ups and styles when well coached teams meet...

Nobody said anything about them being scared only that they caught fairview at a good time. Look your Camden group did beat us on that night it was scheduled. I think Fairview was there own worst opponent during the 3 losses.

Fairview is a better team than Camden hands down. CPA will beat fairview this team is better than last years CPA. Alcoa should be a tough team also. Fairview can't play with either. But fairview can and would beat Camden if played again.

I knew Wavo was in trouble. Last week Fairview dominated a way more athletic bigger Page Squad. Fairview is much better thAn their record. In my opinion best team in the district. Camden better be glad they got them early. Wouldn't want any of them now. Wavo played a weak first half schedule and is not as good as their record. They are good team but look soft to me. Stick to basketball wavo which you all will dominate. Great job fairview players and coaches. Defensive secondary look good for fairview.
