All kinds of junior high players get “offers”. They’re verbal and don’t mean anything. Can’t even officially offer any player under 16. It’s a marketing tool college recruiters use to try to get a foot in the door early. Kind of like buying a website named the same thing as an up and coming athlete in hopes they make it big and your $20 URL becomes worth a fortune (imagine owning tombrady.com when he was in high school and what it’s be worth today lol). Same sort of no risk gamble as “offering” a junior high player.
Still impressive for a 6th grader. In 6th grade I was watching cartoons and eating boogies.

Did I hear correct? Simpsons brother is a 6th grader and has a college offer?

Friend, we had to ride 510+ miles one way on a school bus in late May to get to the Spring Fling in Memphis three years in a row. Every West TN school could drive to Chattanooga for every championship for every sport for 20 years and it still wouldn't make up for that garbage.
Would be cool to see the ships played at Nissan Stadium.

I agree. McKenzie I guess thought that Fayetteville and Peabody win was good enough to make the Pirates lay down for them. Great win for South Pittsburg.
Nobody from McKenzie expected South Pitt to lay down. I guarantee that.

We have some big holes to fill to even think about another deep run, but you never know.
Like you said, you never know! Next man up!

13 of them! I have been blessed to watch everyone since 1994. A lot of schools would dream of one. SP usually has a good chance at least once every 3-4 years.
SP has a dream program. Much respect. Would love to see this rematch next December!

To many mistakes from Peabody is what got you there. The better team lost that game. And the better team lost in the state game. McKenzie got out coached
Speaking of mistakes, it's "Too". Peabody wasn't the better team if they made too many mistakes. In my opinion of last week both teams played their hearts out. It came down to the last play. The better team is the winning team. Last week you weren't it, and this week we weren't it.

I agree. Y’all have a great team. I’m not saying y’all won’t be back, I’m just saying those other two programs ain’t gonna roll over.
Oh I know you aren't.

Congrats to SP. Ball security and conservative play calling doomed the Rebs in this one. I love Wade Comer, but you guys chalking up a return trip for McKenzie next year might wanna check in with Lake County or Peabody. Whoever makes it out next year will have earned the trip just as McKenzie did this year. Congrats to both programs.
Mck only losing 6 seniors. I think they will be even better
