I'm expecting to see one of the best offense lines in the area this coming year. I think I'll be interesting to see if they can rally behind their strength and have another strong year.
-
How do y'all see this coming year going for the golden tide
-
Peabody will be interesting to watch, they'll have a big line on both sides of the ball. The question marks I see are at the skill positions and the defensive secondary.
-
Best defense in the state?
-
The only thing that went wrong in that game is we had 4-5 turnovers that really killed us, a number of times we were driving and would shoot ourselves in the foot. Anytime you turn it over that many times against a good team, hay you saw that Friday night is bound to happenI want to ask the Peabody posters a question. I'm curious how you have managed to turn things around since the Dresden game? I must say I was surprised at the outcome of that game. Just curious what steps were taken and what changes you have noticed to get you guys back on track?
-
How do y'all see this one playing out?
-
That loss to Dresden seemed to light a fire under the tide, I expect them to take it out on the remainder of their schedule. Peabody by 40 at least

This sets us up for a great game come playoff time, I know I'm looking forward to it. Both teams played phenomenal just UC had the edge tonight. Tough loss for the tide ,but best believe we'll be back and give another great ball game
-
Very rarely do you see a player come into the game off the bench and play his very best
-
Peabody has the luxury of having an excellent back up quarterback, he's a terrific passer and is actually one of the better quarterbacks in the district he just had the misfortune of backing up another good quarterback
-
the three linemen that were suspended were suspended last may,so they haven't started a game for the tide yet, they were spring starters which we all know a lot change between now and the springDon't know which thread to keep reading. If the Peabody qb is out for a half and three starting linemen are out for this game, its going to be an uphill battle for the Golden Tide.

Anyone know anything about this dubios team?
-
I don't see them playing UC in the Semifinals I believe they'll meet Peabody this year and then I think it could go either way
-
The Golden Tide are moving along quite nicely so far this season, if they can keep playing like this look for them to make a run at the state tournament
-
I just can't UC being as strong this year, and seeing that Peabody retains a large majority of te team and playmakers from last season I see them having the best shot for the 1a title this upcoming season

With the Golden Tide's line could come and shock some coming back bigger and better and retaining most of their speed
-
I think it'll be interesting to see who steps up for UC this year, I think it'll be Peabody and NCS in the Semifinals
-
I know it's a little early but how does everyone seeing 1A play out this year, I'm personally biased but I think the Tidemen could do quite well this year
-
Does anyone have any idea about this Memphis Woodstock team? I've tried looking for hudl and a unapproved website but can find neither
-
I think you have to look at Peabody being the favorite this coming year, with all the kids they've got returning they could pose an even harder match up next season for most teams than they did this year, I also think malone should be on your radar for Mr. Football this coming season, should be quite interesting to watch

I've seen some of the 6th graders and there's one already that's 5'8-5'9 at 200 lbs that looks to be a monster in the making, his Brother is a sophomore starting center for the tide so football ability apparently runs In the familyI watched some of the middle school games. We have a group of 7th graders that seem to be a lot like the juniors this year when it comes to speed and athleticism including a lefty QB that can fly. In fact I think a coach told me about 10 started throughout the year. Then from what I hear the group of 6th grade linemen are all between 180 and 200 and can move well for their size. Be ye warned single A.

Yeah curry is an athletically interesting kid, he'll likely draw comparisons to last years tight end Ryan white due to the similar height, Peabody should have some decent size at reciever this coming year with Goodwin and having another baugus who's atleast at 6 ft, I think athletically the team may he even more gifted next year

Peabody on the offensive side is returning a large amount of the O-line they have 3 returning starters and one person returning who switched in and out quite often, expect peabody to have a lot heavier and stronger line this coming year

I personally believe, possibly a slight bit biased lol, that Peabody has one of the nicer overall facilities for a small school in West TN.
