I won't take Summit lightly. You have to respect a team that did what they did to us last year. (even though they lost a lot) From what I have seen in the scrimmages, I really like where Henry County is, especially this early in the season. In the Haywood scrimmage, we looked like we was in mid season form honestly. I'll give a score prediction Thursday but I'm looking for the Big Red to go to Summit with a chip on their shoulder and to play with an attitude.
ROLL RED ROLL!!!
Summit is a very well coached program that has established itself year in and year out. They lost some dynamic players that are hard to replace yes but they will reload and be a solid team. They play together and don’t make a lot of mistakes. They are not to be overlooked. With that said, the same goes for Henry County. Well coached, solid and don’t make a lot of mistakes. I see this being fairly even but I don’t know that I would bet against them at home. Their fan base is large and very supportive. They will provide a great atmosphere for Football. Always have been a Henry County fan but I see it even with the home field Advantage to Summit.

Not to pretty for the Bucs tonight. Congrats to HHS on a good win.

Beech freshmen beat Hendersonville freshmen 28-14.
it’s gonna be a good one tomorrow night in Hendersonville. A lot of hype about this game. Bucs take it in a close one 20-17!!! -
Throw the past out the window!!! As Coach Martin from Gallatin used to say “It’s muscle and blood time”. Where is your heart? Looking for a hard fought game as both these teams know each other.
Eers and Mondo shive us the stats of the last 10 years.
Who ya got?
My money is on The Bucs!!!

This game may be an eye opener for HC because i think Summit is going to be too much to handle. SHS 38 - HC 28.
I don’t know that I agree. They are both good teams. HC can win this. They will have to play mistake free football but, so will summit. It is early in the year, it will be about who is the most prepared.

To all of our new Faragut friends, make sure to check out our food venue.
Pork loin sandwiches, 1/3 lb cheeseburgers, Nathan’s large hot dogs, chicken tenders, French fries to get you started.
Wash it down with a 32oz sweet tea, fresh squeezed lemonade, or an Arnold Palmer,
For your sweet tooth try Grandmama Hitts fried pies with a big ole scoop of ice cream, a funnel cake, or some cotton candy,
We always have the fun stuff, a big ole large Nacho and cheese with chili and all the jalapeños you want, popcorn, candy and so much more.
Regardless of how the game goes, we just want to see a smile on your face.Tell em Ole Bucky sent you!!!

Most people miss that. They think that Beech just has better athletes than everyone and that’s why they’re successful, when in reality that is very rarely the case. Beech has an identity, they embrace that identity and they do just as you stated; they impose their will. I anticipate the same thing will happen tomorrow, but I believe it will be a close and hard fought game. Summit is a really good team and will come in believing they are going to win. I believe this will be close throughout and come down to execution and will.
Beech 24
Summit 14That is spot on!!!

Beech vs Henry Co in an epic rematch.
I ain’t into all this talk. We gotta beat Summit 1st. That right now is all that matters. As I understand, both the Wade brothers will be playing. Summit has a bunch of good athletes and this will be a tall task.

Must have changed it.

I'll never doubt Beech again. They put it to Hillsboro. Even though I didn't see the game, Director hit it on the head and said the more disciplined team would win. Beech and HC are always here for a reason. I expect a close game with Beech coming out on top. The last 2 times these teams have played it's been close and come down to the last drive. Beech 28 Summit 21
I think we could very well see this again. Summit is not gonna just lay down.

You don’t typically get this far down the road if you not good. Sound fundamental football wins. Both these teams are well coached and both have very good skill players. Whom ever has the least mistakes wins. I think this is a great game. Advantage to Beech being at home.
-
When you get to this level in the season, everybody is good and they all have a chance. This is going to be a ball busting effort by both teams. In my opinion, the more disciplined team wins. I believe Beech has the edge here

Hendersonville can win this. They have got to play error free football and create turnovers.
I do believe they have become more consistent in the last few week.
-
I am not one to spar on coach T. I believe each one of them had a great part in the last several years. I am sure there are others and don’t want to short change them for any reason.
Beech has had a very dominant run offensively in the last several years.
Henry County has turned into a great rival game for both schools.
I think each school has a tremendous amount of respect for the other. This is what High School Football is all about

Lol I'm not even going to try to disrespect Jalen Hurd or Tysean Jefferson. Those 2 come to mind as great backs. Any other one that Beech has had I dont remember them doing a whole lot to us.
Travis Haymer
Dorian Carter
Austin Van Zant
Alex Van Zant
Roderick Napper
Patrick Hill
AJ
Darius
Tysean Jefferson
Jesean Parks
Chaz Williamson
there are others I can’t think of, but this is a good start to a list of fine running backs to wear the Blue and orange
You see a lot of times you weren’t staring at 1 in particular but a host of running back by committee
All of these were from 2009 or later

I think revisiting this rule might be the best thing to come out of this.
I think that is a very good point.

So where did the video come from and what did it show? Glad the board carried punishment. It was the fair thing to do based on past cases. Time to learn and move on.
Video came from a person in Franklin County. According to what was stated by a board member, “it’s hard to tell what is happening on the Shelbyville sidelines. “
The vote was split 7-5. I thought Shelbyville did a fair job presenting there case. I also thought the Board was consistent with their previous actions. -
Ticket have been $8.00 in the past.
I didn’t realize TSSAA has made a policy about attendance. To this point it has been a recommendation and left up to each county as to how they would approach this. Did this change? -
Sorry I see this is already a topic.

To me it is annoying. I think it takes a lot out of the game. Bands are great and part of what football is all about.
Playing during the play, I personally don’t care for. Others may like it, I don’t know, but it is not for me.
