  1. That was one of the most complete teams i have seen all year in Page, incredible home field atmosphere when they are rolling but for the love of all that is Holy the car horns blaring all night, Wow! Great moment after the game as well when the Page players and Rebel players gathered as one to pray! Good Luck the rest of the way, i see another shot at state title this year!

I don't want to derail the thread here but why do you think Franklin Co is still struggling? Do you think with the new coach that things will improve quickly? Seems in today's day and age the leash tends to get short quickly.

Personally I think that is the problem, going all the way back to Coach Carr, the leash gets pulled and coaches fired too soon.

There is no consistency in coaching staff which leads to kids coming up in middle school system heading to Tullahoma which has a reputation of consistency at the coaching level

  3. Proud to be the host of this special night every  year in September where we honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by having local kids who are battling cancer be the honorary captains for the night, we honor them and their fight with a Gold Out and raise $ for St Jude! We also honor the kids in the area who have lost their fight to cancer by honoring their memory with their family, no matter if you are a fan of either side if you are in the area Friday night in Winchester come by and witness this special evening!  May be an image of text that says 'CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS T-SHIRT SALE DHOOD AWARENESS Russell Automotive Barnett Family FRANKLIN COUNTY SLLE VS. The new Class 5A Region 5 is reuniting rivals who formed District 8-AAA back in the three-classification days, and the Central Tennessee Conference before the playoff system began in 1969.

The outlier is Spring Hill. Missing is Coffee County and Warren County. Both play in Class 6A.

This will be among the weakest 5A regions in the state.

    NON-REGION OPPONENTS
Columbia - Marshall Co., Hunters Lane, Dickson Co., and James Lawson.
Lawrence County - Summertown, Loretto, Cheatham Co., and Giles Co.
Franklin County - Coffee Co., South Pittsburg, Moore Co., and East Hamilton
Lincoln County - Richland, Davidson Academy, Giles Co., and Cookeville
Spring Hill - Summit, Mt. Pleasant, Maplewood, and James Lawson
Shelbyville - Siegel, Marshall Co., Coffee Co., and Wilson Central
Tullahoma - Stewarts Creek, Coffee Co., Rockvale, and Warren Co.

Who is going to make the playoffs from this region?

Love the new district! Glad to be back to the days of 8AAA

Should be some exciting games this year and an interesting run for the district title!

    Go Rebels!

  5. Columbia Central High School (Columbia, TN)
Franklin Co. High School (Winchester, TN)
Lawrence Co. High School (Lawrenceburg, TN)
Lincoln Co. High School (Fayetteville, TN)
Shelbyville Central High School (Shelbyville, TN)
Spring Hill High School (Columbia, TN)
    Tullahoma High School (Tullahoma, TN)
    Love this region!
Makes sense for everyone, gates will be better and natural rivalry's are renewed in district play!
What's your thoughts on how this district shakes out next season?
  6. Rebels bring a handful of playmakers with a young accurate qb, playmakers will be the Holman twins #1 and #4 running back #7 Jones and #11 Scott , good offensive line, we just had the luxury of being in the same district as Nolensville and Page which were 2 of our losses, hopefully getting some key defensive players back this week that have been out for several weeks!
