In all honesty, from my point of view coach was just asking about the strike zone because it changed a lot within an inning. Nothing hostile, no yelling, just a simple question and the ump just says no more and Coach says something along the lines of “we would like to know” and boom he got tossed. Very weak ejection and I’ve heard the appealed and won, so no suspension.

In all honesty, he was chirping early and the ump did give him a warning. Was it a weak ejection, absolutely. I hate nothing more than an umpire/ref trying to big time the situation, which is what he did. Ump was definitely in the wrong and wasn’t consistent at all.
On the other hand, why would the coach risk getting on the umps bad side in the biggest game of the year! Dude has to know the situation and control himself. He cost his kids the game, no doubt. Had his ace on the mound and the kid got rattled. Will be an interesting game tomorrow for sure!

I mean you can think that but Treece’s stats were better than Bakers. Baker was also saved by the center fielder with great plays twice.

Not really when you consider Baker pitches AND bats! Dude gets it done all around. I also said he did have one good hit.

Luke Treece from Coalfield won Mr. Baseball as a Sophomore this year. Should be a fun game between them and Eagleville today.

Baker (Mr. Baseball finalist) was dominant today. Complete game giving up only 2 hits and had 1 RBI. Treece went 0-3 with only one solid hit. Hate to think they didn’t give the award to Baker since Eagleville had Brewer win Mr. Baseball last year.

LOL, are you serious???? Number 20 got a lot of easy lay ups (12 points in 1st quarter) and wasn't the best player on team. So, you telling me #20 would have been able to beat the press please except the fact that Humboldt turned the defense up & wore Fayetteville players down? I guess Humboldt gets no credit for coming back from 15 & winning by 12, REALLY!

He is absolutely correct! Think about this, #20 was their primary ball handler and a leader of that team. I would guess that over half of those turnovers wouldn't have occurred. Also #5, I believe, from Humbolt wouldn't of been left that wide open with him on the court. You take someone of that caliber off the floor it makes everyone play positions they aren't used to and do things that they haven't done before. NO DOUBT they would of secured a win with him on the floor!

  5. No way Kobe Foster isn't #1! When he and Hopkins went head to head Foster torched him. NO ONE on FC could guard him. 43 pts 11 boards and a D1 Team recruiting him during that game.

Well after watching Kobe play a few times in the last couple of weeks I would put him ahead of Parker but not Hopkins. Hopkins is too calm and collected and doesn't need to score 43 to win as he has better cast than Kobe. Also looking at college I would think Hopkins has a better shot as he is a true PG and Kobe is just a scorer and size may affect him. All in all both are great players that any coach would love to have.

  6. Foster Pride Parker Leonard and Hopkins are best 5 players in the district. Keith and Northcutt are right behind them..

    1. Hopkins-FC

    2. Parker-Eagleville

    3. Foster-Huntland

    4. Pride-Community

    5. Keith-FC

Sorry but if I'm picking teams I can't take Leonard over Keith. Northcutt and Parks are right ther behind them also.
