Probably depends on what Centennial decides to do. If they promote from within, then probably most of the staff will stay. If they hire someone new, that may happen.

Who do they have on staff that is a possibility?

  2. Schools struggle getting sponsorship ads for fences and programs much less someone investing in a 14-18 year old to drive them more business. I see this being something more in the smaller sports like golf than the bigger sports.

  3. All coaches have different ways of motivating their players. Give the man a shot to do things his way. He has a lot of experience at different levels. All of this concern about him probably means he is shaking things up and other programs in Rutherford County better get prepared. Im excited to see what happens at Blackman.

Haven’t seen schools practicing but I’ve seen 7on7 groups and the kids who are in these summer groups doing conditioning. Can’t blame them and it’s not illegal

How can I get other kids involved with this 7-on-7 groups?  Is there a website with info?

  5. Like I said on the Metro Page, East is not as good of a job as people think. Whoever gets it I hope they are a complete football coach. The quality of Metro Football overall is horrible. The lack of scheme offensively and defensively is frustrating and special teams are virtually non-existent.

Inside scoop just wondering why you think it's not as desirable as some might think. Talent is there, new stadium, great alumni support, good day to day for a teacher/coach. What am I missing?

Same reason all the other long time coaches left.

  7. Sat around talking this past weekend with a few guys and some names came up.

    B. Oliver,  S. Jackson, Z. White, A. Broome, R. Grimes, T. McKee, M. Kriesky, J. Parks, M. Williams, S. Williams, D. Watson, J. Hoath, M. Woodward

  8. having coached Erik Davis i can say he was one of the hardest working players i have ever coached. He will make an exceptional head coach because of his work ethic and the way kids are drawn towards him. Eric was tremendous at Ezell and a great player at Vanderbilt. I have no clue who gets it but i just have a personal stake in how well he does. I know Mose had an incredible career in high school for the burros as well as at tennessee. there is no shortage of good candidates for the hillsboro job.

Look to the Bobcats for your leader..... maybe young, maybe old
