  1. Warrior Wrestling Club is hosting a dodgeball tournament fundraiser on Saturday May 5th at Lynn View recreation center in Kingsport, TN. Teams will consist of 5 players each. Cost is $100 per team. Admission $1. Concessions will be sold on site. Check in starts at 11am and games will start at noon. All proceeds go to Warrior Wrestling Club. Teams must be registered by Thursday May 3rd. Questions and registration can be directed to amh6946@gmail.com.

  2. I have my nephew from PA coming down to the Trip Cities June 25th - July 15. I was wondering if there are any tournamens or fight nights around that time. He is attending the App State camp June 27th-30th but other that he would like to get additional mat time. He is an incoming Freshman HWT.please let me know if you have any information.

    Weigh ins: Saturday June 11th 7am-815am *you must weigh in as a team*

    Start time:915am

    Admission: $5 adults $2 students age 5 and under free

    Rules: periods 1-1-1 ot 1 sv (1)30 sec rideout

    Table workers: each team must provide 1 table worker.

    Awards:Champions receive t-shirts

  4. I just want to see if there would be any interest for teams. It will be in the first week in June in the tri-cities area. The division 2rd grade and under weights would be 47-52-57-62-67-72-77-82-92-102(10) with up to 5 alternates so 15 max roster. I will bring a team from PA looking to get 4-5 more at least up to 8 teams trying to get 5 matches each. I don't have cost details yet or exact location but very inexpensive. Just want to have a fun little dual tourney and a good experience and small fundraiser. I would like community based clubs.   5. In PA we have only 2 classifications AA and AAA. Some of the more competitive AA even elect to wrestle up to AAA for better college exposure. This seems to work pretty with the exception of public schools complaining that private and charter schools recruit. I personally like my wrestlers to wrestle the best so I like that private and charter aren't separate from public schools. It just is purely based on enrollment.
