  2. 99 TRYOUT for Pitcher and for shortstop

    18U HC Xplosion going to hold tryout on May 8th for a strong pitcher and also a shortstop to fill positions that graduate to college this summer. The tryout will be open and will be conducted in McEwen Tn at 3pm. Please contact Chris Elliott 931-622-0548 Text will get me the quickest. Playing 3-4 warm up tournaments a World Series in Chattanooga and 2 college Exposures this summer and will carry on through fall with at least 4 more tournaments with one being an Exposure tournament as well. Only serious players please.

    Dont want to talk about it on the boards but I fully expect him to seek a higher paying and a higher classification job after next season but him going back home is a possibility also.

    So now that you guys know you can handle Huntingdon pretty well whats the next obstacle going through the playoffs?

    NOOO you cant hve him!! But seriously Im afraid he will be all but gone after next yr when Preston graduates.

    I know he made some hard decisions after you guys won the State and if you guys win again this year or next and the Preston graduates he may explore new things.  you never know.  i know he sure does love you guys over there in Wayne county so it will be interesting.  But as aforementioned.....he would LOOK GREAT BACK IN RED AND WHITE!!!  lol.

    You coach softball over there correct?

    I coached Softball at McEwen for 5 years up until I changed jobs last year and my schedule doesnt permit anymore.  Now i just coach good old Travel Ball.  Would love to be coaching football.  Coach Rice was my coach in High School and my mentor as a coach in general.  I rode with his Brother and followed the WC bunch to their State Championship through all the games in 2011 playoffs.  Much respect for Coach Rice.  Wish we could get him to come home!!!!!

    It's good to have ya on here! Your team is headed in the right direction and should get their 3rd win this yr and yall played a few other teams pretty close. I will say when we played yall that the Warriors where a tough bunch and I have no doubt thay will improve. Btw who is the Head Coach over their?

    Coach Eric Pullen since Coach Nolen retired.

    First time I have seen a McEwen poster in years

    Haven't had much to talk about as you well know.  I work with alot of these PC guys so its a big game for the beatings we have each taken this year.  I also dont need to say alot because I love Warrior Football and dont want to say anything to irritate administration.
