Going to be a fun week. Revy 27/4 already being called names. lol Have no idea how good Greenback is but I've been on the fence with Dresden all year and last night threw me all in. For most purposes WC did a very good job of slowing down Dresser and Winn but we still got the win. Granted the breaks went our way but Dresden was all over Rice all night. That's what Dresden has with these kids, so many athletes on the field you cant cover them all.

Very accurate post. The containment of rice was huge. Granted of course Winn n Yates had their moments but the amount of athletes u have on defense is big. Think ya have a good shot this weekend

Wildcat89. I was not overly impressed with this WC team. They were a little bit better than average at best. Rice made a bonehead mistake but there was still plenty of time to overcome that mistake. You bashed Peabody.. I won't bash WC. They were good but not on the same level with Dresden. You underestimated our district because of the Peabody drubbing by NC last year. That was one game... So maybe I should retract my statement about WC just being an average team. But I will say they were average tonight. I saw one impressive player. Number 7. Winn was so much better than Rice (Tonight) Hands down

I came to the game just wanting to c a good game. Saw both teams play this year n knew it had a lot of potential. I thought going n Dresden had more weapons but knew Waynesboro physicality could play a big role. The better team won tonight but it wasn't black n white as the score showed. Take away them second quarter slip ups from Waynesboro n this could b different game. Rice not as effective as usual but what u expect when nanney is on ur heels every time u drop back (very impressed w him). Dresden don't think I'm saying they were better or should have won. Just saying it wasn't a one sided game like people r saying. Wildcats I'll give u your due. Much respect. Dresden best of luck to u next week. Ya r a real good team w a good shot to win

Logic says that it should have given the kids the confidence that they can play with anyone at their best...Having raised two through their teen's...logic goes out the window...LOL!!!

I think the hill is a better team but u cannot count out sharp. He gets it done this time of the year. Huge win last week n better keep same mindset. Good luck to all seniors

Say what you want to man but it's the truth no reason to get butt hurt over something you can't change! I try to give you guys props for being better than you was last yr but with you seems like a personal problem with Waverly! It's ok my man you can still be haten after tomorrow night too. Me personally, I'm just glad to be in the position we are in.

Your misinformed. Riverside is playing at the 2A level. Check the enrollment numbers

I absolutely do agree, but you have no idea beforehand what that will be...in game adjustments are on the fly and not available for practice, risking mistakes and turnovers . Defensive adjustments are harder still...you fill gaps to counter what they have working, and you are liable to disorient your defense and allow a big play. Sounds like I'm predicting a meltdown, but that's not the case...just saying that Riverside has the advantage of learning from the first meeting's shortcomings.

I think this will b a different game. Not predicting a rhs win, waverly very talented team all way around. Just think riverside will b more prepared. Yes having smith back sheds a complete different light on the matchup. He has put the team on his shoulders a few times this season. No disrespect to rhs players. He is just a key ingredient that makes everything rises. A lot of what I go on is the panthers had 3 scoring opportunities where they came up short last time they met. Yes waverly rose up to the threat but their was some success without their qb. Waverly is hard to stop n I figure Friday night will b no different. Will come down to who wants it most n turnovers. Good luck to both sides especially to the seniors.

I was at this game and I was impressed with Riverside. About a year ago when Coach Robertson announced his resignation as football coach, I knew whoever the next head coach would be in for a rude awakening. They lost a lot of Seniors off last years team and here they are. I'll be the first one to admit, I was wrong. Heck, I'll even admit that I was scratching my head over the hiring of Coach Frost because of he resume at previous school(s). I know it's a small sample size, but it appears to be a good hire so far. Congratulations to Riverside on the victory! Drake Smith reminds me a lot like Camden's quarterback Hayden Abernathy. Jackson Christian played hard, but they relied to Whittmore a little too much and it appears that he got exhausted at the end. Pretty good football game in Jackson! Goodluck to Riverside next week! Bring out those broomsticks Region 5-2A!

Thanks. A lot if people questioned the hire of frost. But people got to realize the school he was at. Not exactly a school that can pool a lot of athletes. His record very deceiving. The guys believe in him n he is getting good play out of them. On to waverly

I don't understand why when a person for LC presents numbers and gives his opinion that it becomes a mockery to the TCA folk. What he did for this board was at least bring some insight other than "we are so banged up" for the 6th time.

I agree football fan. W both things u pointed out. Unless their is a history to previous posts I don't understand the sarcasm. But as far as the game I c Lewis winning convincingly. Not trying to downplay tca but it isn't their time yet like all their posters say they are young n BANGED up. Sure they can pull off the win I just think Lewis too much

I believe #10 smith will be back in this game. I am predicting a close game with riverside winning. I just believe he will find a way to lead the panthers to a victory! JC has a very dangerous Qb as well . Should be a very good one!

After reading my post last night I realized I didn't give respect where it is due. Waverly is a very talented team. Skill position players are very good n defense fast n physical. Not trying to b negative just expected ur defense to b a lot more w all the talk on here. Yes u did hold us to 7 points n that counts for something but rhs had three scoring chances that came away w nothing to show for. Again that says something about the way the Tigers rose up when they had to but surprised bout the way rhs moved the ball w pretty much a make shift offense structured through the week w a second string qb. Please don't get me wrong not saying rhs should've won. Waverly very talented n deserve the region title

Your right waverly did come out flat. Riverside did have their chances without smith n exposed some stuff. Mckenzie will b a very tough choice for them to play. Very interesting how things will play out.

Laces I wasn't impressed at all with the game we are a lot more physical and seems we are a lot faster. That's just my opinion on it.

Agree waverly is the better team coming in. Match ups will b a key thing. The panthers play well at times n not so well like last night. With or without their standout qb they better b ready to play or it could get very ugly against a team like waverly

I honestly believe Scotts hill best team but they haven't played since the first quarter against riverside. Tca has some momentum n playing well but Scotts hill has more weapons
