Watching from the stands, and looking at the EH schedule, this is the best team they have played.
"Not Playing" Fairview and Waverly obviously didn't help them.
-
Watching this Forrest vs. East Hickman game, doesn't look like you'll get your game against EH.
Doubtful they would schedule you non-region next year either.....

Taking their time, huh......

So the obvious question.....why would he leave Huntington to go to Hickman County?

I expect them to win the district next year with him leading the program.

Fairview is trash. They barely beat Hickman and they are garbage too. Camden sucks. Lewis is is terrible. Waverly is awful. Everyone else should just do themselves a favor and go play baseball because they are a disgrace to the game. They’ll get swept in the regions like I said
, please.....
I think Fairview, Hickman, and Camden all have a good shot to advance. Having seen ALL of them play.
Lewis, if they are 4th, will play whoever tough.

Alcoa wins the gold ball.....
Oops.....I mean beats AE

If I didn't live two hours away I would go to this one, but knowing a few people out that way, this is going to be a barn burner as stated several times.
Both teams have scored a ton of points.
Will either of the defenses be able to slow the other one down? Or is this like a Big XII game?

I think the Stratford Cinderella story comes to an end.
Fairview - 35
Stratford - 14
Fairview to the Semis to play an extremely tough Covington team (though Milan might have something to say about that).
-
Hard choice between going to this game, and Cornersville v Huntingdon.
I do think Waverly wins for the second time, but I don't think it will be as high scoring.
Waverly 28
Riverside 14

I like it, Tuesday morning and at 60 pages. This ones headed well over 100!
Huntingdon gets it done this year.
So many good games at this time of year, hard to pick which one to go to. Picking between this one and Waverly vs. Riverside II.

revenge is a dish best served ..............who are we kidding here, revenge isnt a dish at all, it is a battle cry for sports teams and boxers, as well as ex-wives to help them get the nerve up for another try and we all know how often "another try" works for ex-wives, so let's look at this from the sports side of things. Unless your name is rocky balboa and your opponent is clubber lang, ivan drago or old age, you basically have no better chance the second time around. ( i really dont know where i'm going with this, i just wanted to somehow find a way to work the names clubber lang and ivan drago into this conversation somehow )
I absolutely love reading Monday morning, and seeing an Ex-Wives correlation!

I disagree its win or go home, you should take every team serious. So whether it's Whites Creek or middle school team, you should always be ready and focused come playoffs.
Do you think PC was overlooking Stratford?

I can't predict the future but No way this is a 21 pt game
Nope, both teams are too close in talent.
I don't see anyone winning by more than 7.

Let's make this conversation a little more interesting and entertaining....
Who has the better turf field in West TN.... Dyersburg, JCS, or Huntingdon.....
So did we ever get a consensus?

Game day. Waverly with the win tonight.
Ready for the Waverly vs. Lewis board (though Riverside may have something to say about that).

True about region schedule.......but look at their out of region schedule. Fairview, Huntingdon, Davidson Academy. I think that schedule has prepared them for playoffs.
Definitely a tough non-region. I don't think Westview would have been close in any of those, as everyone was a high scoring shootout. But maybe with a new attitude, Westview could turn into the same thing.
I look for Waverly to get by CA tonight, and most likely Riverside again or/Lewis.

If Fairview plays like they did against whites creek they'll be in for a long night.
If you have seen Whites Creek play, probably was a little tough to "get fired up for". I guarantee you that Fairview will be at their best tonight.
Now, is that enough to go toe to toe with East Nashville, we'll see tonight.

If you want a QB friendly coach, then McConell is probably the guy. He has done a great job of developing Waverly's QB. 4 year starter and reigning 2A Mr. Football.
McConnell would be a great choice.
I've seen the QB from Westview play, and he is a legit runner and passer.
But, not sure if the play makers are there like Waverly has had the past few seasons.
Plus that region is no joke. Riverside is Waverly's only real competition in their current region.

Completely agree that Waverly wins, but with the weather can't see that high of a score this year. I've seen Waverly in person, and CA only on film. Waverly defense is good at stopping the run which is what CA is relying on now. Might see a lot of single wing from Waverly to set up #37 in the passing game.
I'll go:
Waverly - 28
CA - 14
EAST HICKMAN AT FORREST

Like a couple posters hoped for, Forrest seemed to put it together tonight.
