Upperman got screwed 

They recruit instate and out of state, so does Oakland, Alcoa, every private school and every other successful team.

Very impressed with Upperman. They are at a big talent disadvantage, but are making this a game. Very well coached team.

What an ending 

Brown may be the best coach in the state. Nobody does more with less than him imo. Doesn't recruit either.

What a play before half

Great game. McCallie is the best team in the state public or private.

Alcoa will always be Maryville's ######

I think they’ve tried the high school coach thing and will probably back off of that. Not seeing him nor Shawn in the mix. They want someone with college experience and a proven ability to recruit. Shawn has the coaching experience and Jason has the NFL connections and that experience. Either would make great position coaches and could gain experience that would lead to the college coaching ranks. I just don’t see Jason uprooting his family. And I may be totally wrong, but that’s just my opinion.

Jason agreed to take the Lipscomb job last year then backed out because his oldest son didn't want to move. His oldest is a junior this year. 

Center Grove out of the Indiana playoffs. I wonder how Oakland would match up with them at this point?

I'm a McCallie graduate and supporter, but I have a friend in MC who has a son on the team. The only reason I keep up with them at all. I venture to guess we are both much more successful than you. At the end of the day you are a small town, small timer.

Do you think posters on here knew he was hurt and if they did why would they share that information? Do you think the coaches would want that getting out? Use some common sense.
