Watertown crushes JC

No... Just noJackson Co is 3-0 people. Open your eyes and you'll see these Blue Devils coming. This is our region for the taking. God Bless and Go Devils.

Watertown's Big RB graduated last year but his replacement is very talented also. He doesn't play as physical as Turner did but makes up for it with his good vision and quickness. Watertown wins this one big.The W was supppsed win big last year too. If the big RB is still at the W it will be tough for sure.

Nobody is going to beat Watertown in region 4 this year. Just don't see it happening.
-
Westy gave Forrest all they wanted tonight.. Wow
-
Watertown wins BIG.

Watertown loses a key reciever number 18 and number 5 who carried their team the last few years these will be HUGE loses but there are some kids that can replace 18. The big question for h20 is if they will be able to run the ball like they did this last year. I believe it will not be as good but Mr.Turners back up is a young very talented kid that just keeps growing. The only thing they will be missing on defense is 5 that can't be replaced but the kid behind him (his cousin I believe) is a pretty good football player who will lead the defense next year. Watertown is still very talented on the offensive side of the ball the passing game will just be used more which is not a problem because they have one of the best QB in the state hands down. Watertown is not down they will just have to change their game to be successful

Watertown has 2 gyms? They don't even have 500 kids. Gyms mean nothing when it comes to a size of a school. You should see the size of Tresavant. If there are only 500 students there why are there 2 gyms? Why do they have so many empty classes in the building. Look at this picture. How many people are in the band? There are over 100 kids just in the band.

Watertown is returning a lot of players from this last year. Should be a toss up between these two this next year. This returning 2016 senior class has several excellent players. We are losing some up front guys but we have good guys moving in. I do not expect a talent drop off.
What I do see is that from year to year, if this staff returns, we are finally getting the continuity we need to instill a real program.
We should absolutely be favored to win the Region again. Toughest games will be at Eagleville, at Westmoreland, and Watertown at home.
I think we play at Page, which will be a 1 score game either way, but doesn't impact region standings.
I'd like to see an offseason regimen similar to Marion, who seems to be peaking heading into Cookeville including mental toughness and physical health.
How does a team do that?

Believe this will be a good game them boys from Forrest are fighters maybe the Rockets can turn some heads this week.
-
Wouldnt say average region 3 is just really good.Region 4 is not and was not ever very strong. A bunch of average teams trying to compete in the big world of real deal high school football.
-
Sure the kid will be hitting the weights next week grtting ready for the next level loved watching this kid play for 4 years. That's tough. Shows how much heart he has though. He sounds like our Zeman from last year. Kids like that don't come through very often. Hope he has a speedy recovery.
-
Just heard Mr.Turner was playing through pneumonia and Mono 2 rough sicknesses kids heart is like no other.3 words sums up this game,BIGGER FASTER STRONGER!!!!! Congrats to h2o on a good season #5 heart of gold. Tyner great team good luck rest of the way,

lolTOOT! TOOT! Someone get that purple tiger off the tracks....There's a RAM TRAIN coming.
-
Don't think anything can keep Mr.Turner from playing this week very tough young man. Will #5 play for H2O? Heard that he may be injured?
-
Can't wait to watch the 2 studs face off (h20 5) (Tyner 1) 2 very good football players like to see who is gunna win when they meet each other.
-
How many times are you going to have to tell people this same thing has been said about Watertown over and over. 8-2 must be a cake walk now. Purple Tigers should be 9-1 the only one legit loss they have had has been to Forrest which was a nail bitter. Tyner will not blow out Watertown. All this talk about athletes Tyner has Watertown has a very athletic/physical team they have a "freak" at TB/LB that is licking his chops for this game Friday's a QB that can absolutely pick you also a great athlete probably will be seeing him on TV out on the diamond in a couple of years. And our receivers can go get the ball from about anywhere. I know Tyner has good athletes but h20 is in the same boat.Omniscience you are lazy and have done no research. Watertown's best player was out for the Grundy game. It's tiring to keep explaining that to the Tyner groupies. We both predict a Forrest win, so I am glad you have your head screwed on with that one.

They don't have the line they had last year. A good line will carry you far places. Westy had way too much hype going into this year I still believe they are a good team but not good enough to pull this one off. What happened to Westmoreland this year. They had a good year last year in 3A and lots of talk about how good they would be this year moving down to 2A. Seems line they kinda flopped. What's the scoop??
-
I believe you will win this one big, but this is the playoffs and you never know what can happen. Westmoreland is not a bad team at all but if you jump up on them early I believe they will lay down. This is a matchup of the two favorites in region three and four meeting in the first round. Not sure Marion will beat them as bad as Watertown did. It was close at the half but I hear they had a bunch of turnovers. Special teams for mc have been good this year creating short fields and I'm not sure but I think we have ran back a ko or pr or blocked a punt and scored nearly every game this year. It could be a very valuable tool to have during the playoffs.
-
I completely agree on this. If Watertown plays like they are capable of I believe they will win but if they don't it will be bad.As someone with no skin in the game, I'll give my opinion.
I think Watertown can beat Tyner.
However, that depends greatly on which Watertown team shows up.
They were lucky to beat Grundy and a bad Gordonsville team played them close.
However, they competed with a good Forrest team and were leading Davidson until they lost a key player.
Watertown has the potential to win by a couple of scores. They also have the potential to be mercy ruled.

Watertown came out at half and completely just dominated.Marion doesn't have burner speed, but several kids that run probably 4.6-4.8. Maybe four or five kids. I understand that Forrest likes to stack the box and put nine guys in there. That's great for stopping the run unless the backs get a crease. Also better have some good size corners if they are gonna be on an island as mc can throw three receivers that are 6'3 or better. I look for a good game in the second round, but we have to get by westmoreland first. I have a feeling we won't beat them as bad as Watertown did. Seems like they had a bunch of turnovers. Anyone have any stats from that game? I know Watertown was winning 12-0 in the second?

Great game. Congrats to Forrest. Some of Watertowns players disappointed me tonight didn't see much heart out of them.
