Less than a year ago we were two 4A playoff teams.. Giles beat 2 out of the 3 teams they played from this new region last year. As a matter of fact, Franklin County, Summit, Columbia, and Lincoln County all took losses to region 4-4A last year.

The Tennessean did an article on the school rebuild. Page will be able to hold 2200 kids...

We've been getting better with increased enrollment. I expect that to be no different this year... I don't like leaving the old region though!

Page will be 6A before long. Williamson County is growing like crazy... Couldn't tell ya, I just show up when the Patriots hit the field!

The first line was for you. The rest was sarcasm for wickedtuna... We did struggle vs GC, so there is plenty of questions to be answered going into the season.

We struggled with Giles County Saturday morning. No reason to worry about us this year. We are very slow and still in shock that TSSAA made us move up to 5A 

You came back and posted about the game two weeks ago. In case you forgot, we played on the 28th. How is that not showing up for a week or so...I'll wait.

I posted before the next game, that's less than a week. That also was my first post of the week... Again, I invite you to post what you are referring to. Every post has a date and time.

 

What did I accuse anyone of or whine about bobcat? Sadly, I said they were a better team than us before we even played, but now all of MC is calling me a sore loser. Maybe if I cried and yelled hail MC you guys ego would be stroked enough.

 

So back to what started this whole thing. Bc MC posters show no humility (or even honesty apparently), I hope that Central pulls out the win in a great Thanksgiving week semifinal.

You were talking about how Page was gonna "show us" and all that. All I was trying to do was warn you about what was gonna happen and you got your feelings hurt. You didn't respect us enough then so I don't expect you to now. Good luck in 5A.

I remember 3 or 4 years ago when MC posters had some humility. Even when Giles was on top, guys like WOMG talked smack but showed respect and had respect from people. Be the role models you want these young men to see. You know they look on here.

I came on here today to eat crow mainly though, not just to complain. MC not only is good, they look the part as well.

King, so you mean to tell us that the band was not there for the distric championship? Why on earth would that be allowed to happen? Also I heard from a parent of yours that the seniors couldn't practice yesterday. What is that all about? You all are going to play the playoffs tonight aren't you?

Boohoo, I've never agreed with you about anything, and I still won't. You're barking up the right tree though. Friday felt like the team was trying to accomplish a great feat without some important support... Like the support every team in the country looks to have

The default place to look would be the coaches, but I know they care and I know the band not being there is out of their control. I'm sure even MC fans felt the letdown of us not even putting up a fight.

That was ugly.. Yall are so good that you scared our band away for the biggest game of the year... Now I'm just hoping the program cares enough to go get a win tonight! Those tails were tucked Friday, and I'm not exactly sure where to point the finger.

Johnathan Harris, OL/DL he's a load to deal with! Great kid too, he's playing through some adversity this year that I'm sure you know about.

 

Thanks, hats off to MC. There's not much to take a shot at with you guys. Although, I don't think you'll win the physical battle this year. Whoever said soft hasnt seen us play this year.

It's a very good trait. Great teams don't put themselves in that position very often. If Page comes out with the same ole game plan then prepare for a long night.

I disagree. The game of football by nature puts you in that situation. Great teams find a way to be victorious. We've both failed at that this year, but both have won when it counts.

Of the 2 other playoff teams in the region Page has won both of those games by 4 points combined. MC has won those games by 72 points. Not hating...just stating the obvious.

The obvious would be that we are both undefeated in region. Comparing winning margins didn't do much for the Panthers in the Super Bowl. Finding a way to win is a heck of a trait.
