I saw Boyd play against Whitwell in the opener. I thought the same thing. Why are these play calls so vanilla and predictable. Why isn't Kohl touching the ball more. I mean it just seemed like bad play call/design to me.

The play call has been puke all year, even last year. I don't understand. Slant, screen, split the safeties with a streak?!?  None of that happened. It's a definite head scratcher for me!!  Oh well, if my youngest gets the same opportunity as my older ones did we may jump ship. Mediocrity isn't my bag.

I think it has more to do with T$$AA sending the bottom of the barrel refs to the teams with very few wins.  I did have fun giving them a hard time last night though!

CPA will be a huge challenge for CAK.  We'll have to rest up from last night and figure out who's healthy and then put together the best O and D game plans possible to give the Warriors a chance to be competitive against CPA.

Hope you guys are healthy.  My son was pretty bummed at how our season went, as he is a senior.  Good luck to you guys.  I'll be keeping up.

Thanks, BoydBucFan.  I hope you got some good eats while you were in west Knoxville.

The Bucs played hard and fought to the end.  BB has some very good athletes.  Way too many penalties called...against both teams...except for one game that had a long pause due to an injury, that was the longest game we've had all year, due mostly to all the yellow flags flying all over the place.

Yeah,  several calls were definite head scratchers!  How will you guys match up against CPA?  I don't know much about the Knoxville teams, except from what I have seen this year.

Depends on what you want.  The CAK concession stand burgers are legendary, as well as the banana pudding.  If you want to eat before you come to CAK, there are some really good eateries in the general vicinity.

Italian--Altruda's ...top notch...not a chain...better get there by 6 so you can get in and out and make it to the game.

There are lots of chain places nearby...Culver's...

Local flavor...Calhoun's...there's one of them on Kingston Pike at Pellissippi Parkway...

If you like BBQ, there are two really good local BBQ joints fairly close...Full Service BBQ...no inside dining...they have picnic tables under canopies at an old gas station...sounds low rent, but the BBQ is top notch.

Another nearby is Archer's BBQ...small, but has some inside seating if that's what you prefer.

Good man. I don't care what they say about you, and they ARE talking!;)

Why Boog, are you implying that a coach or more may be sitting on a ring of fire?!  Do you think that some may be looking through the telescope for a new island to land on??

Haven't seen Silverdale in person this year but hear they are struggling a little. I hear they run a wing-t similar to Webb. If so they may be more prepared to stop our offense. Does Silverdale have enough to keep this one close enough to give them a shot in the fourth quarter? Does having smilier offenses make this a good matchup for the Seahawks? Which Green pulls it out in week 11?

No. No. Webb by as many as they want.

  9. #1 & 48 for Boyd have been riddled with injuries the past two years but are very worthy.  Work ethic, grades, stats(when healthy), leadership are qualities that they possess and should not be overlooked because their stats don't reflect numbers. Great players with injuries should not be over looked.

lets just say that when all that free condo space all u could eat oysters was provided before the pettion to play down in DII-A in all the sports xept football...even though they were over.....St Elmo Christian got a 730 day get out of jail free card.....then its DII-AA in all sports for them soon.....Booger taken 20-1 that they fire 30 students and submit a 449 at the next Happy Hour at the Pink Pony Pub.

    Booger just sayin

I'm thinking we need to consider getting our numbers inline with 1A. We are that much above the cutoff. Of course if we keep losing like we are it may happen on its own. ;) You feel me!?!

Not my rings, only pics  could find. I was just like Igor.....Hey go mow the grass, Igor, put out the field markers, Igor, help them line the field, when are you going to clean out the shed....loved every minute of it. I was running the chain gang when Boyd qb hurt his leg the second year at our place. He was a stud trying to say in, won my appreciation. Good luck this year . Tell Buc55 thanks for saving me a seat, but a buck in Missouri was calling my name that year.

Thanks for sharing.  You are correct, Cardwell was a stud.  He went on to play for MTSU where he is scheduled to graduate in December.  I don't see Buc55 much anymore but I'll relay the message the next time we pass.

I hope you bagged the big Missouri!!

oh lordy sweet baby jesus.....u wait til the of next year when that deal they cut down in Gulf Shores at the Pink Pony Pub ends.....and they have to move up to DII-AAA in all sports

If CCS moves up then all of us get to go bowling next year?!  Really?!  What kind of mess is this Boog?

I'm sure IF all our teams got to add one IF it would make for a much better season.

Mondo is beast, we can all agree on that. You see Sparty, some get on here to poke fun and stir the pot. Others want to boast. I just get on here to show off my prognostication prowess. Scratch me on the belly and we'll be friends for life. Kinda like Cousin Eddie and Clark.

And if you don't mind Clark, I'd like to get something real nice for you. Something real nice!

It's funny how people only see a game from their team's perspective. Webb literally "gave it to CCS" ... did CCS give it to Webb when Mondo fumbled early in the game setting up great field position for Webb? How about that fake put CCS tried to give Webb another touchdown? When Webb played ND, the 2 blocked puts were the difference and Webb gave it to ND, but it doesn't count when CCS gives it to Webb.

And did Webb "load the box" all night long? Did it work? I think Mondo ran for 220, so how about giving the kid some credit for gaining so many yards against the loaded box all night.

And all of the Webb players were missing and they still one the game ... but don't mention that our starting QB was out with mono.

One thing for certain about this year ... Chattanooga Christian is the most under rated team in DII-AA ... they were picked to finish 18th out of 19 teams. Are they as good as Webb, ND, GCA? No, they're not ... but they are getting better ... and Mondo (along with most of the offense) is back next year.

That a baby, Old.  Pour that Webb kool-aid out.  I told Sparty they wouldn't stop your run.  If the Chargers had a little bit more speed, watch out!

This one will be another ugly win for the catlicks against the Sword of Joshua Indepemdent Full Gospel Pentecostal Assembly. Sportsmanship meetings shall be called. 264 yards of flags will be thrown. Irish win with running clock.

Why, Johnny...are you implying that this video represents ND football?!  Are you saying ND football is arrogant and thugish?!
