It wasn't raining, storming or anything Saturday. It was sunny and nice. Cleveland couldn't use the muddy field excuse when they have turf. Cleveland took everyones money from parking, tickets and concessions and kept it. 

It's hilarious Cleveland cancelling this game. There's not any bad weather in sight, can't blame a muddy field. Why should they care when they got their money.

So OLmomma. Basically if anyone has a different opinion than you it's just awful and you should be stoned! Play calling at times is questionable. Especially at critical times. Someone stating their opinion doesn't make you better or you the super fan. If you or the players can't handle a message board then stay away. They hear worse and say worse I'm sure. You're clearly biased and can't have an unbiased conversation. You just want to attack. Cry a little more.

Any word for sure on Copeland?

According to Damon it's going to be Standifer this week.

Doesn't look like the Bears will have Cole this Friday. If the Bears make it to the 2nd round he'll likely play.

Who wants some of the Bears? This squad is loaded.

Standifer is young, as a sophomore, but was working with the JV team as QB, till the injuries forced him to play receiver and punt. After that he worked with those positions. Inexperienced in varsity play yes, but he can play and has done a good job when asked.

 

He took most of the 1st team snaps last week and there is no doubt he will this week. Does this hurt us, considering who we are playing, I have to say yes. But I have no doubt we will get his best and that is all we can ask.

 

And I still think we have a shot at beating any team we play, including Maryville, even now.

Anyone can be beat on any given day but you don't lose a QB the caliber of Copeland and not expect to have a huge drop off. I don't think anyone is taking anything away from Standifer. He could end up being a player but he's not near Copeland right now.

Not sure where your getting your info but according to the player and his family we won't know anything until Monday. The feeling is he will be back for playoffs.

Ok we'll see.

It's 5 days till kickoff. Copeland could be back by then. Let's not count him out yet. I pray he is back and 100% by then.

Thank you flyfalcon - there is no I in team! If it wasn't for the Bradley defense that game would have been worse. When you build your team around ONE person and that ONE PERSON gets ALL the credit, you can't fault anyone else for the loss. Standifer did a great job for the level he had to go against. But again when you don't prepare your backup players - you can't expect a miracle! It has been this way for YEARS. And the play calling??? What was that?? You can't run the same 3-4 plays EVERY game and expect a different result - that is the definition of insanity! This team is great without several starters who are injured - why is it now we are going to do worse without one specific person?? That is not fair to the rest of the TEAM.

If Freeman/Floyd turn Copeland loose again this week and put Carpenter out wide or in the slot. I think Bradley wins by 10. Of the 3 games left the only one they should lose is Maryville. Bradley had no business losing to Bearden. Play calling and coaching is the only thing holding Bradley back. They need to work on their special teams too. Can't keep giving the other team a short field.

It blows my mind that a Cleveland Blue Raider football team played that poorly. Need better offensive line play and more discipline. The veer can be very effective if ran properly.

This game could get ugly quick if Bradley starts off flat.

Typical Bradley. They tried to get too cute instead of just doing what has worked. You don't move your best WR to TE. Why do call the same plays After halftime that didn't work in the 1st half? You can't force a square peg in a round hole.
