First Oakland game but they seem a little off from what I expected.  They will adjust

This is an interesting game IMO.  Will be a good measuring stick for both teams.  I feel like these games will help Giles in playoffs with their region being so weak and all.

From what a few of my Columbia buddies say Page should have wine by 3 TDs but made some mistakes in the second half.

Was not impressed with your all’s overall speed when we played you.  I have always thought you all played smart and with good discipline however.

I think Jokekane was trying to be funny but I think Columbia takes this one.  They have more speed than Page.  I do think Page will be better coached and prepared but Columbia has speed to make up for the lack of those things.

Hasn’t Page played 2 6A schools and Fairview in their non region games?  I know those schools are not very good but how would anyone know that going into the season?  As for playing Giles-we were in that region with both teams and no one wants to play the cheaters from Giles County.  O’Connor has been caught cheating several times.  So I would assume that the 2 coaches probably no one another and are buddies.  Could be completely wrong but I do know the other teams in that old region have blackballed Giles due to their shenanigans 

Was planning on going to this game tonight but just found out it has been canceled... does anybody know why?

Got to watch this on tv.  Sloppy game.  Felt like Page had opportunities to blow this open.  Several bad calls that went against Page \.  First play was a catch for over 40 yards but refs missed it.  Questionable call on the int for TD that got called back.  Pages QB went out in first half otherwise may still been a blowout.  But as usual both Fairview and Page looked well coached and boy the kids play hard.

Where they really the number 1 passing offense?  I saw them play twice and was not really impressed with their offense.  Did think the defense was pretty good though

i know Melton a little with his time at Summit. I really thought he would have brought in some of his own guys but hey I really don't know the coaches on Franklins staff the last couple years.  I would like to see them challenge the Brentwoods and Ravenwoods for a change.  

Melton has been there several months now so I was curious how things are going?  New coaches? Hold overs?  Etc.

also with his departure from Summit have they filled the Defnesive coordinates position or will Coleman take over that role.  Tons of changes in the area for sure.

Not a secret around this area.  They are great kids and will be successful.  TN just didn't promise the one that he would be a QB.  Used to schools would promise those things and then dereceuit you once they had you.  Nowadays kids just leave.

TN wasn't willing to promise the one twin that he would play QB.  Happy for the twins but also good to see TN and others stick to their evaluation process

They don't have to compete with Summer since those 2 schools moved up to 6A dues to having 300-400 more kids than Hillsboro.  

If you look at the facilities then Rutherford wins hands down.  Not even close.  What this does mean is WCS is making an effort to close that gap.

If that is how it sounded then that is my mistake.  I was saying to exclude those 3 because IMO no other program can match up to those  and it would be fair to hold FC or any other school to those 3.
