Brentwood Academy #4 ... He must be on something

1. Not very disciplined at keeping assignments on defense. 2.Neither team can cover the middle of the field on pass coverage. 3. Players from both teams are out of position and that's why you have so many big plays. 4. Maryville is as good on defense as they are on offense. 5. The coaching at Maryville is the biggest difference. Maryville would win against either one of these teams HANDS DOWN!! How is that for reasons?

This would not be a close game. MBA would beat this team by 3 scores and after watching BA twice this year (both times vs MBA) they would beat them 4 scores or more. You need to get real with your understanding of how to evaluate talent. My prediction would be that Chandler would run for 300 yards against them.

Watching the game and all I see is all offense and no defense from either team. Maryville would manhandle either one of these teams,they can play defense along with their offense. JMO and I am not a Maryville fan.

Maryville just can't consistently run with the big dogs every week. Therefore they don't scedule them and keep playing with the little dogs.

When GQ plays a big O line and good run game ...AKA BA and MBA ... His kids have trouble and this was when they won the state championship that year. D2AA is a whole different level my friends

Maybe so. But year in and year out, Maryville would win their fair share of them. Most years, BA only wins 8-9 games

It would be a record game in numbers of people if they played this year! If both teams take care of buisness in cookeville why not play for fun? What's to lose they are both state champions? It would be the game of the century

You could combine all teams in TN into 1 classification, and Maryville would be a top 5 team EVERY YEAR. The same could not be said for MBA, BA, Ensworth, Baylor, etc

BA would give any team in the state everything they wanted. Including Maryville. If only the two teams would play. I don't think it would even be close

Sounds like private schools are all offense and no defense this year. Maryville has played div 1 talent all year. Just as good of players than private kids. That means jack tho. To say Maryville would lose by 14 to any private school is plain stupid. To say Maryville would win every game against private schools is just as dumb.

Maryville has the right to brag and will continue to get to until someone knocks them down. I've watched several private schools play the past few years. Not one of this teams could tell me that they could beat Maryville. MBA and BA would most likely be the only ones that could come close to beating Maryville. We will never know until they play

Come close to beating them? I'm pretty sure BA and MBA would handle them. You don't just show up and play these two. Sec players on both teams with great coaching

I'm saying if they played Marvyilles scedule every year y'all would be talking about BA and MBA like y'all talk about Maryville. Because D2 is a powerhouse league it's common for teams to have off years bc of the talent. Maryville would have several off years in D2.

I just think athletes/talent vs not as good talent , athletes win most of the time. While coaches can put them in the right positions they can't make the plays for them. I think D2 talent would be something Marvyilles team Right now has not seen and would surprise them

Montgomery Bell Academy plays Brentwood academy on Thursday at 7 ... 2 of the top 3 teams in the state besides Maryville

By "league" I mean D2 AA which year in and year out produces the most D1 athletes and has the best competition.

Where does the top RB in TN play? I've not seen a great rb this year in ET 6A. I'll bet nashville or memphis has some good ones?

The best RB goes to MBA and if he played in any other league he would break every record Tennessee has. Goes to show you the talent of D2

Because Maryville doesn't play the competition that D2 has.... BA or MBA could play in that league and not have an " off year" . If you wanna see who has the best you gotta either scedule the best or play in the best league.
