Doubt Brentwood finishes top 4 in their district this year.

You sure about that thumper?? I heard that have three four stars and the money to back them. Coach is good. Principal is better, and his golf game is better than anyone I know ;). Seems like a recipe for success to me.

It is kind of wild the year he resigns at Indy, that Gaddis is retiring. Funny timing. I still bet you Blade is ready to step away from coaching and pursue other interests though.

This is a really good job in a really good location that will have some attractive applicants. I’m really interested to see what direction they go.

Anyone here care to share who Ligma is? Not familiar with that name.

He's from some where south of this area. I've heard his name mentioned for other jobs in the past just amongst people in the know. He's done a good job with the defenses at the schools he's been with in the past. I heard he's tired of working with the current principal he's with. I was told he was a real hard one to work with. Ligma likes to have two well-rounded individuals he trusts in any job he interviews for.

I could see that as well.

That's what i was thinking. Both are good options. There's a lot at stake when they've already had Ligma apply and Blade might go to the college ranks and coach at Bofa. Nov things happening around the Indy program.

It’s been full of divas the last 3 years, no work ethic and no accountability was in place. A lot of folks don’t like that tygard is no nonsense trying to get better so they are pouting

Is he really no nonsense if he's letting the defensive coordinator give up 48.5 points a game the last three?? Seems passive to me. No nonsense with the kids, maybe. Is there no accountability from the adults??

What are your thoughts on the new Region 6 6A.  Cane Ridge, Antioch, Overton, McGavock, Dickson County, Smyrna & LaVergne.

Cane Ridge and Smyrna will play for the Region Championship every year for the most part.  I think LaVergne has beaten Smyrna one time in the school's 32 year existence.

I will point out 1 thing.  Hester left Ravenwood when he knew the athletes where drying up and went to Nolensville where everyone in the county knew was a hotbed.  Daniels came in and did a great job of rebuilding Ravenwood back up.  Now he is the knight in shining armor coming back after chasing the money to Alabama without much success on the field.  Like him or hate him Daniels did a great job and I hope his time with the family is everything that he is looking for

Coach Hester went to the Quarterfinals in like his second year there, and made the first ever playoff appearance for the school or something like that in his first year.  Not really fair to classify him as chasing money, when he took on a new challenge and accomplished good things while he was there.  His parents live right across the street from the school...him coming back makes sense for everyone but you apparently.  You can appreciate Daniels without badmouthing Hester.

Yall know something that is 100% facts? Henry County was not supposed to be in the semifinals this year. We was supposed to be rebuilding this year in preparation for the next 2 years (which is our best shots of getting a gold ball) and Summit is supposed to be here. They was in the championship game just last year with the Wade boys back. Most people expect them to be in Cookeville. BUT........WHAT IF......Henry County pulls it off and ends up in Cookeville in a year we was not supposed to???? I think we are ready for that challenge!!! LET'S GO!!!!

How was HC not supposed to even be in the semis this year when Memphis schools aren't even playing.  Not sure y'all had a tough road and you beat everyone you were supposed to beat.  Congrats on that accomplishment...you are one of the fortunate ones to still be playing tonight.  However, I am not sure you can say you weren't even supposed to be there when your best competition didn't play due to the pandemic.

I am not referring to Wilco I am referring to Summit.  In Wilco it is the responsibility of the individual school to make sure that kids live at the residence in Which they claim. At Summit there are dozens of kids that live in Maury County zones for Spring Hill or Columbia and go to Summit.  That is fact.  It is also fact and very well known about the coaches issue in and out of school.  It is also fact that the admin can be found at Jonathan's after football games tossing back a few. Now there is nothing wrong with that but given their position at the school one would think they would rethink their actions.  Educators should hold themselves to higher standards being as though they are looked to as leaders of kids IMO.  Also fact that they hired Palmer that has apparently had some questionable discrepancies .   I could go on and on.  So FYB before you call names like a 5 year old brat maybe you should check your info.

Typing a sentence, then saying "that is a fact" after it doesn't make it a fact. LOL

I have always had a problem with schools that bend the rules.  I had that same problem when they were 0-10 under Keasler and now.  Especially since them overlooking the counties out of zone policy is hurting my school.  I don't need to drive through the parking lot when I know many of the families that go there.  Look at the facts and then you tel me that character and academics come first.

Umm...facts? There is no conspiracy going on in Williamson County schools. There are no rules being broken by anyone in this area. There isn't a school district more by the book than Willco. There aren't different rules for different schools within the district. Wow, are you dilusional. What facts do you speak of?

I live just across the county line from Summit. Drive through their parking lot one day and just look at the tags on the cars   You will see a number of Maury County tags.  Spring Hill and Columbia kids are flooding to Williamson County school.  I can't blame the parents and the kids   I would have done the same thing.  However it is the admins responsibility to stop that at Summit.  If I were a resident of Williamson County I would be pissed   Their tax dollars supporting kids not in their county Teachers have to pay 5k to bring their kids out of zone but Summit allows it to happen if they are good athlete.  My whole point is that morality is not the top priority   So getting coaches will not be an issue.

You drive through the parking lot looking at license plates?? That sounds pretty weird to me. Last time I checked, license plates are good for a year. People are allowed to move. This is the dumbest argument I've ever seen or read on a thread on coach t. You really seem to have it out for summit, which is hilarious because you haven't seemed to until they had some success and made it to the state championship game. You might want to do some more research, or know more facts before bashing an administration for their hiring process or what they think is important to a school. From what I've gathered, the kids and academics come first at every school in Williamson County, including Summit.  That's never going to change. Stop being bitter, and move on.

It was definitely a good night for them. But they ultimately just had a better gameplan than other teams. Load the box and stop Briggs.  With our backup qb in that game and the previous 3 or 4 games, we simply lost our passing attack which allowed teams to load up. Pretty simple to control a game when you can do that.

People's inability to give credit where it might be due is mind boggling sometimes. Summit sat on a bus for 3 hours, while Gallatin got to sit in the comfort of their home locker room. They arrived, has probably about ten minutes to get dressed, warmed up, took the field, and #### down a vaunted Gallatin Offense. I think that game is available in Facebook watch or YouTube. Go back and watch the dominating performance of both Offensive and defensive lines. Really no argument to be had. Conditions were even, Summit showed up to play and Gallatin didn't. Plain and simple. Gallatin is going to be solId again. Coach Watson is doing a great job. However, they lost a great senior class too. Everyone is in the process of trying to figure out what they have, and that has been infinitely more difficult to predict since there will not be a spring practice. Hopefully, all players are doing as much as they can during this time. Coaches will earn their stipend when they all return to activity trying to play catch up with the time that was missed. Time will tell how well goes for each team. Good luck to everyone.

Why is Murfreesboro Central Magnet not coop with Riverdale in football. This could be a school that feeds them. Central was a middle school at one time and fed Riverdale I believe.

There ain't nary a football player one walking the halls of Central Magnet.

  13. I Think I know who the coach is going to be, but until the school announces it, it's not fair to spill the beans. All I can say is the coach is coming from a school with an animal as their mascot within a 30 Mike radius of siegel.
