  1. Heard the Irish had a good outing to finish off Spring ball. Clark needs to work real hard on his offense and get them moving the ball a little more effective for the fall. The few returning starters and players are playing big leadership roles and making everyone around them work real hard. I liked what I seen this Spring and that's reality. Go Irish!

Obviously Wayne County and Huntingdon are the favorites in this region. In your opinion, where does HC finish at?

  2. Think Houston will have the same type of success this year? Pretty amazing turn around last year. Still healthy after the first scrimmage?

I know they have good coaching, but I think they lost some 15+ seniors. I think that's hard to replace on any team. They may have some really good underclassmen though. I'm not that familiar with the make up of the team.

  3. is dillehay going to be receiver. Just wondering. I saw him in jr high when he went to Macon county. His passing was ok but he could run the snot out of the ball from the qb position

I'm not sure. I would think he would be in an H position. I'm sure coach Hood will utilize him in the best position to help the team. I do think CA will be better moving forward.

  4. I don't know where youre getting your info but CA's QB is the Robinson kid. Hands down he's the starter. He's very polished for a rising soph

ill be surprised if it's not the dillehay kid when the season starts. You do know I'm talking about Clarksville academy not Columbia academy right?

He's talking about Clarksville Academy, and he's right. The Robinson kid will be the starter and from what I'm told, he should be. If I'm not mistaken, he started half the year last season and held his own as a freshman.

  5. It is remarkable to me the quality of team CA has fielded with so few players, so many key injuries, and building around a Freshman QB.  (A talented and smart freshman QB; but a freshmen nevertheless.)  Kudos on what y'all have accomplished this year!

First of all, thanks for the great atmosphere Friday night. It was a great game, and as I'm sure you do, look forward to the series in years to come. We are a predominant young team as you know, and coach Hood and his staff do a great job managing that along with unfortunate injuries. That being said, hats off the HC and the great job Coach Clark has done with revitalizing that program in just 12 months. Good luck Friday night!
