  1. Again you don't know the details. Do some research. Admin changed at Eagleville the year after he left. Tollet took over and he gave Carson what he needed. Things the previous admin did not give Scharsch. Not to mention the classification system changed. Look at who they played 02-07 and then look at who they played 08-15... Then call Tollet and ask him who did what. He was the ad back then and there is a reason he didn't fire Scharsch.... He left on his own. Man you are a hater.

  2. In 10 seasons only 2 with more than 4 wins. Don't see that 9 win season on the list. If I'm not mistaken that was the JV season that they opened up with.

Yea the administration at spring hill did have a hand in what happened there but he had an even bigger hand. Zero team discipline, can't let the inmates run the jail. Believe me I know much about how he left the spring hill program. The coaches there now are still trying to change it around.

  3.

Mr. Nolan is a very nice man! Just my two cents. As far as football goes I have seen with my own eyes the drop off within this program. Hopefully soon this will be rectified. GO WARRIORS!! Bust your butts this offseason! I see Coach Fields is still on this staff. I would think he would not let mistreatment of players slide if he was witness to that. Just a thought because I know he is a good guy!

    I agree.

  5. First and foremost be a program builder. Understand that because you don’t have a direct feeder school you still need to find out who the players are at Buchannan and Christiana that will be future players in your program and participate in their development. Reinstate a mandatory weight lifting and conditioning program that will make a difference in player development. Control your program where your freshman and JV squads are running the same system in order for you to reload each year. Be able to work with your coaching staff and be able to communicate effectively for the same cause. Care about each of your players, not just the ones with the county names and the influential parents. Look at each player individually to determine their best ability and position and develop them accordingly. Reach out to players who are sitting out because of the previous staff. Participate on all levels of the program including community development and financial fund raising. This is just a short list of things that should be normal expectations of a coach that wants to develop a program not just sit on your butt in your office and be a driver’s ed teacher.

  6. Amen. He made Eagleville a desirable job when they were anything but that when he took over in 2008

I wouldn't say it was un-desirable. They were in the playoffs and were region runner-up in their 3rd year of varsity football. Built a game field and a practice field. Established a strength and conditioning program for all athletes (that was non existent prior). All with a bunch of kids who had never played a down of football before 2002. They were competitive from 2004 and on. Had several all state players named during that time ... and all of that while playing in a much different region than they have been in since 2009. Cascade, Forrest, Jo Byrns, Whitehouse Heritage, Collinwood, Wayne County, Columbia Academy .... just to name a few from the regions they played in before the reclassification.

More than 100 applicants when it opened last time.....

un-desirable? I think not. Don't step on those that built that program from nothing. A lot of players, parents, coaches and administrators worked long and hard to get it going .... with very little initial support from the county.
