I think it's about time people realize that Peabody is the real deal! We heard it all last year, "They can't handle this team and that team" every week of the playoffs. Well that 2A gold ball is proudly on display. Drop down to 1A and here it is again. Peabody now has removed the 1A struggle hold Union City has had on this classification for years. They have traveled on the road week after week and now It's on to NCS where again they are the underdog! Hopefully y'all will give respect where it's due after this goldball is in their hands?!?

NO I lived in KC MO Now I live in West Tn....right out of Jackson now. New lake area. Again I hope Trenton can match up with NCS speed. Not only their special team player but their lineman are big and strong. Winner wins State.

Not sure some of you are getting the point on here as far as this speed thing? Have you watched any games? Peabody is one of the fastest teams in the state. Speed is what won them the 2A title last year and Speed is what will win them this years 1A title.

Like it or not, maybe because we're also trying to teach these boys life lessons. Personally I teach my kids that if you do things the right way & stay on the right track good things will come. What hurt more than anything else is to see a kid that has been in trouble numerous times be rewarded for it. I truly do hope he has learned from his previous mistakes & put all these juvenile antics behind him & will succeed in life.

That TV had sticky notes all over it with negative comments directed at Tide players. After the game that TV was removed from wall (not destroyed) and a player took a picture with it knowing it would be seen by the low class people that put it up there. Basically saying We Won and got ur TV ! It was a prank by UC and a returned prank by PHS. In the heat of moment, winning a huge game no one really gave them a shot at, No Harm No Foul!

I also heard the Dresden group did the same thing last night in the visitor locker room!

Are these the "teaching our boys life lessons" your referring to?

Was just watching NCS highlights and was thinking the same thing. Might be Big but I really don't see where anybody's getting Fast? I believe some of these posters might change their minds on the meaning of speed during the game Friday!!

I was there. Zemen had 133 yds and MC's only score. Malone and Peabody dominated on the scoreboard 34-7. MC's 3 fumbles took em out of it. Peabody only out gained MC by 100 yds total offense. But the D had takeaways

100+ of his 133 were 4th q when Peabody was up 4 scores!! Are you serious acting like this wasn't a lopsided bashing by Peabody ?

Obviously Ambassador wasn't at that game. "Didn't stop Zeeman" I was kinda disappointed while at that Championship game because it was a lopsided joke! All the hype and Peabody should of just stayed home and had a more competitive game vs a below .500 team locally!!

From what I witnessed last night there Coach, The Golden Tide took it from ya. Nothing was given to them. Your Players got outplayed by a superior team AND 22-0 second half score!

Radio interview with the Dresden coach. Question: This game, as heart wrenching as the loss is, what do you take from it?

Answer: They have a QB on their side that has behavioral issues, everybody knows that, but he plays well. Our team gave them the game because we lack discipline and didn't take care of business. We are going to have to step it up if we are going to make it to the next level. A 39-0 game becomes a 35-14 game...shouldn't happen. Next year is now or never.

Why take a shot at the other team's QB after the game? Show class and just say that it was a tough loss to a good team.

It was a video, not a picture. The Peabody team was jumping and chanting, "We won the m!$&"! !@&$:!g game" repeatedly for about 20 seconds. A player then says, "if you are not in high school, leave the room." You then see a couple of men in khakis (coaches?) leave the room. One of the players then climbs on a locker and starts pulling on the tv. Another player then joins on the pull.

 

No harm done to UC. We lost to an inferior team that lacks discipline.
