Glad the refs got together and made the right call.

As for you making a fool of yourself in the rest of this post... well that is just par for the course.

With that call, and the many others I’ve seen in gyms across the state, tssaa  officially allowed high school basketball to become professional wrestling, with outcomes predetermined and no respect for the rule book. And considering the comments on here, from the low IQ experts, who don’t understand or watch the game, and think it’s ok for officials to determine the outcome,   it is assured that the game will continue to deteriorate into non existence. Enjoy wallowing in your ignorance.

How do I know you’re not ignorant if you’re too scared to say your name? My “sources” being unnamed are the same as you being unnamed.

For all I know, you don’t have a HS diploma. You’re so delusional, it’s sad. I feel bad for you and anyone you have influence over. It’s like you live in an alternate reality or something.

I’m not the one using made up sources. Having Imaginary fans would make you the delusional one. Better up your meds.   Hope you get some help

Lol!!! This whole thing is built on anonymity bro.... state your name and profession if you give a rip about “sources”. lol

I’m not the one quoting “ some fans”.  I know I was there. And you weren’t.  Hope you have a good time wandering through life in your ignorance

I talked to some CC fans and they disagree with you and say the refs had nothing to do with it. They were there and said CC best player didn’t  play as good as usual and the coach mismanaged time at the end. I’ll trust them over you.

When your argument fails, always turn to the Unnamed sources!  That makes you cnn

So what you’re saying is, you’re smarter and more well trained, experienced and overall just better than anyone who disagrees with your interpretation of events?

No, I’m saying, I saw the game, and you didn’t. So, your opinion on the game is not valid

What advice would that be? How to show poor sportsmanship? I think i’ll Pass,  it thanks!

No, how not to look more stupid. But I guess you just proved you were, since I pointed that out in the post you commented on.  Guess you didn’t see that either, like the game

I’m saying that every time your team loses, it’s the refs’ fault. Every. Time. Have I ever seen refs that made a difference in a game? Sure. I saw that happen about two times in a seven year stretch of watching high school sports consistently. You’ve seen it happen what, six or seven times in one season, also known as every time you lose.

When you comment on something you don’t know about or that you didn’t see, that make you look more stupid!!   I’m trying to give you some advice

So salty. Sometimes other teams are better than yours, and that is ok.

When other teams are better, I congratulate them. When the refs are bad, I point that out. So, you’re saying that a referee didn’t Blow his whistle and raise his hand calling a foul on the last shot in regulation, and another ref didnt overrule him?

I was at the Stone games, but when I heard CC lost, I knew the refs cost them. Don’t forget  the opposing team’s student section... I’m sure they were terrible and hurled insults personally at mwvols guy and I bet one of the kids for dekalb tried to break a cc players arm too....

No, that’s an honor that belongs to the other high school across town

Pointing out that it’s your M. O. to blame the refs doesn’t require my presence at the game. Anyone can find that from reading your previous posts.

It’s not my fault that refs are bad. But it is your fault when you celebrate a victory that you know you didn’t earn

I notice from his response that once again, the refs were biased and played a role in the loss. I should have started a pool on how long it would take for the referees to be brought up.

All you had to do was be at the game.  Don’t comment about things you don’t see. Makes you look more stupid

He was talking about Coach Miller not Dishman

Dishman was the last person mentioned before his comment.  It’s not the first time he’s done it. If that’s not what he meant, let him have the balls to clarify it.

Ok so now she can’t even win a first round game in the region tournament on her home floor....  I rest my case

You just became the lowest form of scum on the entire website.  To insult a high school girl who gives her entire being every time she walks on the floor, makes you the lowest piece of useless flesh on the planet. It took 3 referees and an entire team to beat her and her team that was without 2 starters. She was double and triple teamed all night. Fouled every time down the floor, and still scored 32. And was fouled on the last shot of regulation, the official closest to the shot blew his whistle and called the foul and another wiped it off.  You must be mentally ill to even consider what you said to be acceptable. You need to apologize, and never comment here again

Jets lost one of their better players the other night to a torn ACL. They were up 40 in the 4th when it happened. Leaving starters in during 4th quarter against our valley teams, just to paste them might have backfired. Never understood why their best player is firing up 3's in the 4th up by 40+. They have blasted our valley teams for 2 years now.

Do you ever get tired of lying??  Or is it so habitual that you don’t even realize you’re doing it?  Nothing in your post is true.

She sure recovered real quick from a flagrant elbow to the head that hardly slowed her down!  Please tell me you don’t officiate and you just hate them.

I’ve never seen either of those teams play.  But I do know the game and the rules, and if you don’t see 3 obvious fouls in that video, you and people like you are what’s wrong with the game.

I’m a little curious about the block shot.  The quality isn’t great, it just looks like she blocked her from behind.  There’s nothing wrong with that.  Just because it doesn’t look orthodox doesn’t mean it’s wrong bud.  12 did foul the guard at mid court.  I’m not saying you couldn’t call a ticky tack on the first one, but you have to take into account that the guard changed her direction into the defense and caused most of the contact doing so

The first foul was the worst and could have been called flagrant. She hit her in the head with an elbow. The second was more than obvious. The block wasn’t the foul, it was the girl in front with the hack and body.  So you think an offensive player can’t change direction on a dribble?  It’s obvious that you don’t know the game or the rules, along with a lot of officials.

Usually don't chime in on these things, but seriously were you at this particular game? If the answer is no, you really don't know. If the answer is yes and you think that game was officiated well, then I got nothing for ya. I never get on here and say anything about officiating, but this was a disgrace that a district tournament game was officiated this poorly and I will leave it at that.

One team shot 36 free throws. 3 6! 36! One shot 11. The foul count....sweet mother...

The better team might have won. I am not saying they didn't. But anyone that was there and honest, on both sides, will tell you, the officiating 100% played a significant impact in the outcome of the game.

Very well said, but it also needs to be pointed out that at the time that the technicals started, Pickett had cut the lead to 35-30 and should have been going to the line with a chance to cut it to 3. The non called obvious foul, was the call that resulted in the first technical.  In a span of a couple minutes, a probable 3 point lead became 15 points, with no baskets made, with 2 more technicals called and coach and fans tossed.  Every time I think I’ve seen the worst officiated game of the year, three more refs  step up and say “ oh yeah?, watch this”.   I have no loyalty on either side, I was there to watch what I thought would be the best game close to where I was.

Can you enlighten us on how Loretto is 1A with 531 students enrolled?

Tssaa evaluates and adjusts classifications about every 5 years.  Loretto was under the 1A number in 2017 at last classification change.  They will reclassify in 2022. All the schools are listed with classification and enrollment on tssaa website

According to this article, Kimia Carter has scored all but 200 of her teams points this year and had the assist on 170 of those.  That leaves only 30 points in the entire season that she didn’t have a hand in. Her name doesn’t appear on any of the recognized high school sports stat sites.  Do those numbers seem a bit off to anybody else?  Can somebody verify these numbers?

  20. 2 minutes ago, Indian said:

Maybe she didn't play all the games, but of the ones on here they average 45 points. With 32 points listed and 10 other points listed for here through assists, that's 42. I can't believe she's part of virtually every point. Again, maybe she didn't play in some games and it throws it off.

I agree that the numbers seem off. After this was posted, I was able to find 4 or 5 box scores of Brainerd games. The most points in any game that she was credited with was 23. Hard to average 32 when your high game score is only 23. Can anybody tell us where the stats can be verified?
