    Didn't happen.

I was sitting 6 feet from the student section the entire game.  When they introduced the cookeville players, the entire student section turned their backs to the floor and in unison, yelled sucks after each girl was introduced.

Rated R chants(pg13 either) aren't allowed on the White County side. If we ever used a chant with the word "sucks" in a chant our Principal, Athletic Director, etc. would be up in the student section immediately. I'm not saying a student might not say something rude outside the gym, but it's not allowed inside the gym.

I guess your principal, athletic director, etc wasn’t in they gym tonight when the entire student section yelled “sucks”  after each Cookeville player was introduced.

You asked about the quality teams they have played. I simply pointed out they, meaning Upperman and Macon played quality teams in Arizona.  I didn’t bash anyone.   Reagan Hurst, Keely Carter, and Brooklyn Crouch are 3 players in 8AA that are Miss Basketball worthy.

Yes, I’ve seen them all play,  I stand by my statement. Throw out some numbers and let’s compare.  If upperman wanted tough competition, why did they opt out of the top bracket at winterfest in sevierville?

The teams they played in Arizona were great competition and quality teams!

And what does that have to do with miss basketball?  Dishman has almost 800 points, 3/4 of those against non district teams, most of those teams ranked. There are only 2 players I’ve seen this year in AA who come close to her talent, and neither is in district 8. If you have somebody to promote, throw out their numbers and compare. if not, stop trying to bash a player that is deserving of the honor.

The post referred to DISTRICT teams!  Another poster commented on how high the level of competition was for Cumberland.  Go do a little research on the combined records and strength of schedule of the DISTRICT teams that CC plays.   If you weren't such a CC homer you might realize that the level of DISTRICT competition is not on the same level as 8AA or your former 6AAA.  There is no way that your DISTRICT schedule is getting you ready for a possible game with Macon or Upperman in the region.  CC will not be able to speed up Macon or Upperman.

Macon played stone one time and Clarkrange one time. 1-1.  Upperman played Cheatham twice. 1-1. Other than that, who else have  they played besides each other that is a quality team?

That AA district Cumberland County plays in is a real high level of competition.LOL.  Most of those games are over after the first quarter.

Cumberland county’s non-district schedule includes 10 games against ranked teams.  I challenge you to find a tougher non district schedule.  Dishman’s average is higher against the ranked teams than district opponents.  Do a little research or actually watch some games before you criticize a player or team, so you can avoid looking so ignorant.

Cumberland county just kicked the stuffing out of white county at Sparta, and Dishman had 38, which is more than she’s scored in any district game, since she only gets to play less than half of each of those games

  8. These are some of the things that I’ve seen officials do over the last two years that should never happen, and when they do, that official should not be calling games.  One walked into a gym wearing the home teams t-shirt before changing into his uniform. One high fived a player during warm ups. And that same ref, just the other night, stopped to chastise a fan who pointed out an obvious missed call, while the game went on behind her for 15 seconds. One hugged the parents of a coach when he came into the gym. One sat down and talked with 2 fans of the home team before the game started.  And those are just etiquette issues.  That doesn’t even start to address the lack of knowledge of the rules or the game.  If refs don’t want to be criticized, maybe they shouldn’t be so incompetent.

Hey I’ve got the solution for all of everyone’s issues with the referees. Since everyone is an expert in the stands and on here why don’t you put on the uniform and right all of these wrongs you are seeing!!!  Become a referee it has to be easy I mean look at these dummies that are doing it. You are way better than they are!!!  It’s the same with coaching. Those morons have no clue what they are doing so those of you that want to make a change should do so. I’ve never missed a call from the stands or the bench and I’m sure you haven’t either. Oh and you actually get paid to do it so there’s all the motivation you should need!!

Your favorite team must be one of the 3 or 4 on the plateau that always gets the home cooking and couldn’t win without it.

Block/Charge calls, Offensive fouls, and On/over the back fouls.

Player A is right handed, goes to the basket on the left side, with both hands on the ball, defender runs in front of her and falls ref calls charge and his explanation was she extended her right arm and cleared out. How is that possible of shes shooting with her right hand.

Player A is 5'6, and is standing in front of player B who is 6'1. No box out of contact is made, Player B reaches up and grabs rebound without jumping and ref calls over the back or push. Smh!

    Please help me understand

And I thought I was the only one who wished that refs knew the rules and understood the game.  Most games I’ve seen this year would have been better officiated if both teams had just selected one referee each from their bench or fans.

No way CHS could beat UHS. Don't even know why this is even being questioned.

What position on the floor do you think that upperman has an advantage over Cookeville? Explain why you think upperman is better.

Was thrown out cussing, and banned for 6 for threatening the ref. per tssaa. lol

And that is a lie.  There was no profanity or threats.  I sat 3 rows behind him the entire game.  When the policeman came over, he walked out the door without saying a word.   Blatant lying and intentional defamation, especially since you’ve been told the truth, should get you removed from this site, and hopefully sued for libel.

if Upperman "upseted" Ckv , according to your past posts, would it be the refs fault. lol

I’m not sure you could find 3 officials in Tennessee who know the game well enough to have an impartial game

You sure have a lot of free time on your hands.  How is it you watch your daughters games and every other team in the area.  You are also the one who said last Akira Levy wasn’t good.  You have no credibility.

I don’t have anyone that plays. And I do see a lot of games because I travel for my job and I watch the best teams that are closest to where I’m working.  Maybe you should watch a game or two before commenting and you could comment on something other than elementary school games

I am very familiar with CHS guards.  According your reasoning CHS would beat the jets by 30 seeing how Upperman is ranked ABOVE them.

Rankings don’t mean anything.  I’ve seen 6 of the teams in the top 10 play. That’s probably twice as many as the average ap voter. Upperman had a chance to play cchs, but chose to play in the average team bracket.

Almost like the letter on the front page of coach t was written to a certain cchs parent. Congrats you are famous... sorry infamous.

Except for the fact that the parent didn’t use any profanity or threaten anyone.  The policeman who escorted him out, at the officials request, stood by the bleachers within 20 ft of that parent the entire game and never heard anything to alarm him. The official who was interacting with the visiting crowd is who should have been ejected.

It sounds like your the one drinking koolaid! I watched Savage play, wasn’t too impressed.  Upperman guards would have her in foul trouble in the first quarter.  Then who’s going to play that they can’t stop.     I don’t care what margin chs beat another team. Upperman would beat them.   Again, not one guard on CHS could stop Hurst or Crouch.  No one on that team could stop them in middle school.  They haven’t improved that much since.

I have seen Cookeville play twice this year and upperman 5 times. If you had actually seen Cookeville play, you would know that upperman has no one to guard savage, she is better than the average big post, and Cookeville has 3 guards who are more than capable of guarding hurst and crouch.  Anywhere outside of uppermans gym, with both teams playing well, Cookeville by 15-20
