  1. Hawktime,

The only reason for my post was this, the author of the article was Mike Robinson.  Mike works for 5 Star Radio which owns the rights to ESPN, Clarksville.  I listen to 104.1 while driving and in fact listening to it right now in our coaches office (we are on a 2 hour weather delay, usually not on this early in the am.)  I have never heard or read any article by Mike except a commercial for potential employee's.  Mike's son is an excellent football player that played QB for CA and Coach Hood the past 2 years.hat alone is the oddity I was speaking of.

Rustyporter asked if Bryce will go to Rossview now.  New rule prevents a player from doing this.  Todd Hood is an excellent football coach and I wish him success in 9 of his 10 games in 2017.

MW - get that short list out!

If i'm not mistaken, doesn't he host a high school football show also?

I've heard the QB is a good player, just through my son and other kids. Too bad. That's the only position we are lacking at.

  2. So much negativity against my beloved Wildcats. I just gotta love all the insight from the pronoun people who claim that “The Clarksville High School†is in such chaos.

As for the game at hand, this is a very old rivalry and one between two teams that respect each other deeply. I was surprised to see that Clarksville has had the series edge since 2005 with a record of 10-3.

But that doesn’t really tell the whole truth, because these two teams usually play a close game regardless of their records. Last year’s score of 21-20 is a prime example.

Now as for this game, I believe it will be another close one with the difference only being one score.

    Clarksville 28 – 27 Springfield

Ahhh, and here we go with the bashing of other member's honest opinions of a certain school. I'm not seeing where anyone said there was chaos at CHS. All I see is people saying they're not that good.

  3. Clarksville Academy does have a really good QB. He transferred before his freshman year from Clarksville High school for political reasons from what i was told.  Wish we would have got him here at Rossview! Not sure about the rest of the team. They have a good coaching crew. I know Wayne county is a good program. Could be a long night for CA.

  4. It's a shame to elude that the next CHS QB will gain his position by (politics). Actually it is downright insulting to anyone that knows the current front runner for the position. If he does in fact get the nod to be the next starter, it will be because of his: Size, Speed, Strength, and Ability. Not to mention his familiarity with the team and the system. I look forward to watching him lead this team and play hard for the next two seasons.

Thanks for clarifying your support for CHS, but no one said the "front runner" wasn't capable of running "that" offense. The post referred to who would take the senior QB's place at Rossview, and where the particular kid that left CHS was currently at, regardless of what his reason was for leaving. Quit wearing your purple panties on your shoulder and stop trolling.

  5. Not sure about the QB position. My son graduated a few years back, so I'm a little out of the loop. There was a kid who left CHS last year I heard (over politics)who was supposed to be pretty good. Not sure where he ended up. Anybody know if he went to Rossview?

If you're referring to the Robinson kid, he's at Clarksville Academy. From what I heard, there we're political reasons and being that CHS doesn't throw the ball, it wasn't a good fit any way. Would've been nice to have seen him in the Red and Black though! Not sure what Lambert has in mind as far as the QB spot for the Hawks.
