Congratulations to CPA.
They deserved this win!
I hope they win a Gold Ball...

We (Webb) play Ensworth next week. It look a like it's gonna be hard to score in our w-ting if they shut down limpscombs. Any thoughts on the similarities between Webb and limpscomb? Should we expect a similar result?
From what I saw with Lipscomb and what I have heard about Webb,... Webb's offense should be tougher to contain with the speed in the backfield.

How close???
I was on the chain crew on the Mustang sideline! So,.... Close enough to make my analysis.
Lipscomb is average sized upfront at best. They played with all that they had.
I hope they score a bunch this week!

JP has plenty of size in the trenches.
After seeing Lipscomb up close...
I totally agree! JPII should handle the Mustangs.
Lipscomb looked small in the trenches.

Maybe they know you're a CPA guy and muted your stream...?!?

I believe the Ensworth livestream is the same feed they show on their scoreboard without announcers, etc. If you already have a NFHS subscription you should be able to watch the CPA broadcast.
There's audio and play by play on the livestream....

All Ensworth football games are streamed at www.ensworthlive.com

Ensworth will be at full strength this week against CPA. Team speed will determine the winner of this one. Both teams are big upfront so the trench battle will be better than what CPA saw versus Stratford.
Glad to see the Lions in Div. 2! Safe travels to CPA on their 2mi. journey to the E! Get there early, and don't forget about the covered parking lot in the new tennis facility on the West side of the campus!

Ensworth.

Good luck to Lausanne!

Ensworth has non-conference games with Lipscomb Academy, CPA, Trezevant, and Knox-Webb.

Out of the Final 4 in D2-AA, The E has the biggest line on both sides of the ball. And they're getting better every game. If the QB can make some sound decisions and everyone holds on to the football, it could get ugly tonight and in Cookeville.

how? other than belfry and fulton who did they play thats good? with all the talent and rescources they have they should have coasted to state.. but playing weak competition will bite you when it comes playoffs
Well said and true!

Speed kills. And FV has plenty of it. It's what sets them apart from the rest of the region this season. Speed is also what most privates are stocked with player for player on their rosters. It's the unlevelling of the playing field when they matchup against a public.
FV is more than capable of standing in on every down with GP!
I believe that turnovers and special teams will determine who moves on to the next round in this one...
But I'm pulling for FV!

I'm rooting for the PUBLIC Lions to send the PRIVATE Lions off into the sunset, as the PRIVATE Lions endeavor to play against their own kind next year in D2!
-
Soooooo........a CPA fan is outright accusing Ensworth and BA of recruiting????? You do know that the TSSAA rules prohibit recruiting, even in the wild world of D2??? My guess is that certainly Ensworth and most likely BA will move up, so you will likely need to turn your evil eye towards Webb in Knoxville.
OR.... it's an admission that CPA has recruited in these past several years that they've been competitive in D1!!!!
Well, well, well.... LOL!
-
I may have missed this. Are BA and Ensworth playing in AA for sure next year?
That's what I've been waiting to hear...
Not a peep from the E!

Yep we KNOW EXACTLY where she stands.Wherever its best suited for her!LOL!!You can almost see her horns!
So true!

I think it's sad that these 2 are the best we have to choose from??? It's no secret that Clinton is a liar and can't be trusted but you can't trust Trump either. He has been pro life and pro choice, pro gun and anti gun, pro gulf war and anti gulf war, pro hillary and anti hillary, pro Democrat and anti democrat. He flip flops way too much. Not sure what his position will be if he gets into office really. You know what Clinton's will be. Neither is good for America.

We know the family and the program at FV personally. No one loves Fairview football more than Hunter! He's a great kid who is worthy of wearing the colors! Glad to see him score that 2pt conversion! Great job, Coach Hughes!

of unfortunate situations that hinder the football community at EH.
-
EH left their previous football coach in place about 4yrs longer than they should have... When finishing 4-6 is a glorious season, that's really bad. EH had a solid Middle School feeder but that went down in flames after 2013. And the junior pro feeder to the Middle School has been on the endangered species list for just as long. So, it's a chain

Welcome to the deep end.

So who is your team of choice? It appears you created an account recently to bash CPA where you can... What's your intent and why? I know you don't think CPA should be in the public division and guess what, your wish has been granted. Or, do you now want us to stay since we are "way down".
My guess is, in your head, if by some "miracle" we beat Stratford Friday (only the second 3A game we have had) it wI'll be because we had a heck of a week recruiting...
Ensworth at Webb
in Division II

You cannot beat a good football team with five turnovers. Those turnovers kept CPA alive in last Friday's game.
Looking at Webb v Ashville film,.. CPA is bigger than Webb upfront and maybe a bit faster. Then again, it was Webb's first game I believe....
This week at the E the focus is on LITTLE THINGS. If Ensworth plays focused this week, Webb could be made an example of. I'm hoping for a great injury free game out of both teams.
