I’ll never pay City taxes for politics and Egos. Such a waste. Maybe i could get a cushy admin job and a 100K salary with benefits.

So your saying that spending money on children’s education is a waste of taxpayer money. I guess public bathrooms on the square and flower pots are more important.

Fayetteville and Lincoln Co have the worst political nonsense in the State. It’s utterly ridiculous that a Community this size morphed into “Us vs Them”. Such a waste of money and resources that only hurts the students and has re-segregated the town. The City is actually stagnant population wise because of a poor economic development plan and letting the largest employer just relocate to Texas taking 1,500 jobs with them. I suppose the City Residents don’t mind their tax dollars paying for a whole separate HS. Considering most are retires with no children. I don’t know the exact figures but it’s gotta be in the millions wasted on a School Director, Central Office “Supervisors” and Staff, School Board, etc.. All because of petty City vs County Politics that does absolutely nothing academically for either school. I’m not sure that the average City Tax Payer realizes that they’re being robbed. Or for that matter cares. Voter apathy has created this mess by not electing people who want to fix this situation instead of just making it worse.

I can assure you that students have not been hurt by attending FHS. LC has been overcrowded for years. Students at FHS have opportunities they would never have at LC. What you call segregation is actually diversity. There are only a few people left crying about City having a high school. Those that wish they had our players and those who want metro government. Most of us know that the person that post most of this mess is a former politician from Fayetteville. He will keep crying because City is not going anywhere and we will never go metro.

You can go back and watch the film. When the player goes down in the end zone 52 has no contact with MC player. Player is several feet in front of them when ref signals touchdown. It’s up to you to watch the film but it was a bad call. That’s life though and it happens. Not the first time and won’t be the last.

You are correct. I was talking about a different call. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

No doubt I will take 4 kids with OVC offers heck I'll take 4 with NAIA offers. It's just a big difference in true major D1 offers and D2 offers. Most 1A schools doesn't have that kind of talent walking up and down their hallways.

City have four players with at least one D1 offers and some multiple D1 offers.

Fayetteville City fans putting a ton of pressure on their own team. One poster said the team has read it and using it as motivation. Obviously nothing wrong with that but extreme expectations to be up by 35 or 40 points at the half. If they play tight, uncharacteristically turn the ball over, or for some other reason find themselves in a dog fight I wonder how things will go. Don't get me wrong I think the Tigers win but let's see how they handle the pressure. All fans are expecting them to score 60 plus in this contest.

The ones posting that stuff are not Fayetteville fans or at least not the ones that usually post on here.

Playing and beating up lesser competition at a smaller classification instead of playing with the big boys in their classification. Both of these schools play in counties where they get enough players to be competitive in 6A but instead chose to humiliate small county/community teams that have trouble getting athletes.

Most of the players at city live within 9 square miles. Not a big area.

  8. Park city is peaceful but I will say that it is growing fast. The K-8 school there is overcrowded. A lot of that has to do with huge growth south of the state line. I would say that all of Lincoln County is peaceful. It is a little harder to find housing in the city limits but it can be done. If your children play baseball or softball in the k-8 schools in the county they all combine to make one team. That’s one benefit at city. There are opportunities for more kids to play.

The time has finally come and it needs to be said. Bring the schools back together! LCHS can’t keep up anymore with City recruiting any talent that goes to LCHS. City has already gotten punished once for an ineligible player. This next one that is about to be submitted in will be the Death Penalty for the football program. Being that as it may I feel it is right time to start a petition to bring the schools back together.

You are full of it. He was hurt few games ago. There are Fayetteville guys on here that says he was hurt and was in a boot one game on the sideline.  The question is whether he is healed up

We all hope #3 is healthy and can play just like every player on the team. Our coaches are great at preparing the team as a whole. They will have every position filled and ready to play on Friday.

  11. It's great to have some of the Fayetteville haters back. The Tigers have been called classless for years. I remember a few years back when Cornersville made it to the state championship and several of our players traveled to the game to support them because they represented our region. The Tigers knew not to expect the same from them last year. Why? Some of you know the answer to that question. The hatred for our team runs deep. The Tigers will continue to move forward and use the hatred they hear from your players and your fans as motivation.
