Is there some things the coaches could have done differently during that game yea in my opinion they could but to behonest it wasn't the coaches fault for them losing the fumble on the punt return didn't help the interceptions didn't help the coaches put the boys in position to win and turnovers lost them the game..

Coach Tate is only in his second year no need to get rid of him..now if he don't win 5-6 games next year then hey it should be brought up for discussion..burner the new boys basketball coach is gonna win us some ball games the schedule is brutal this year which is their one downfall their first 4 games are against Franklin tullahoma and coffee county..out of their first 10 games I see a possible 2 wins. Next year. They can have a better schedule play some more winnable games..as for the ad mr. Trussler is a good man and would give you the shirt off his back..baseball coach I dunno him. Girls basketball I understand is in his second year so no need in getting rid of him..if you want to make a difference in our athletic programs maybe you should volunteer your time in helping the program

It ain't about me volunteering hours, believe me.. I just work with a lot of Grundy people, and everything i hear is that it's a family affair up on the mountain, and even if I wanted to volunteer and help, unless your'e part of the family, they don't want your help.. Grundy County football is one of the worst in the state right now.. I'm hearing it from more than just Grundy people. Not beating Upperman the other night was 100% coaching.... Period.. Grundy has made a huge mistake, and keeps on making them. Never gonna be better up there.BTW they need coaches and administration not volunteers bud!!! You think I'm joking but I'm not.... lol

Yes I think Bledsoe has a good chance if they play like they did against sequatchie. Bledsoe isn't a bad team, but itis hard to win at Boyd.. This has potential to be a good game, but I'm going with the bucs by at least 2 scores.

Clean house and get new blood in every sport. The AD needs to go as well. They made great strides by getting rid of the old baseball coach. He didn't help Grundy, and kept things stirred up.. It's a shame he hung around as long as he did.

I guess reality has set in with the pioneers. Assistant coaches quitting and  it only get worse from here. If they allowed Riverdale to put up 400 yds, imagine what Oakland will do this week!

Jasper by a bunch in this one.. I believe they can name their score.. Jasper won't be tested again till rd2, and if they prevail in that one, rd4 vs Austin East. I do not think Jasper will be in Cookville this year..

FC should be a force in that region... Terrible decisions by administration on the SS hire.. They need to go after somebody that can win.. My sources tell me there are 2 candidates in mind.. MM and TM....

Everybody I work with from Grundy bashes Tate except for one little ex-QB.... Grundy fans bash their coach almost as bad as Franklin Co. bashes Scott Smith.. My poor co-workers don't have a good team they pull for between all of them.. Most are from Grundy, Franklin, Coffee, and Warren.... It's fun to go into work on Monday, or Saturday to say the least!! And now that Tennessee is overrated again, they complain about that... It would be funner working at Lodge... You think I'm joking but I'm not.

From what I've been told, Grundy has somebody in mind. I also heard at work (Nissan) that Tate is gonna be done after this year, and Grundy already knows who they want. Grundy is realizing they made a bad choice, but in Tate's defense, he got a false since of hope by winning at the middle school level. If Grundy gets who i hear they want, they will improve and the kids will stay. But the guy they want ain't gonna go there from what I've been told. I've heard they've already approached him.

No, I'm going to sit this one out. A few of us are going to watch the Marion/Boyd game. I believe that will be a good one.

Jasper will have a tougher time with boyd than they did with SP.. SP played lights out, and sent them home crying.. even after scoring 74 with that kirkpatrick man at the helm, jasper still in mourning over that whoopin SP put on em..
