When you add the opening that was at Lincoln County that's 17 openings that were out there before Christmas. That's quite a few.

Jellico is having a ruff year. The school has loss over 100 kids in the last 2years because no jobs here after the coal jobs left and basketball coach trying to get them not to play football. It's a hard place to coach and build a winning program. My son was coaching at the university of the Cumberland's and wanted to come back home to jellico and help these kids. I just don't know how much more he can take and hope he stays. Maybe some day we can have a football program like cloudland.
-
Thanks. Your right
-
Don't judge the whole team on something one player done. My son is the coach and I know he won't put up with that crap from one of his players. Sorry it happened.

Well, jellico has turned into jellyjoke in my book. Total breakdown in sportsmanship. Hope you enjoy the ride home after that beatdown
What did they do?
-
The only time jellico beat cloudland Buckner was the qb. Now he's the head coach. Lol.
-
Jellico played Claiborne about 3 weeks ago, Jellico's not very good and was getting 5 to 20 yards ever time they run the ball, This game will be over by half time, Oneida, 56, Claiborne 6.
-
Any three of Coalfield, Wartburg, or Oakdale could win the district tournament and it wouldn't be a surprise. Jellico is the 4seed but I think they are a little below the other 3 unless they are playing at home.
Poor Jellico can't beat no one, Lol
-
It wi pl,,x,24,mm4 `d
-
Jellico playing good right now, I think they can win one more if the Refs don't help the home team,
-
He don't play for the Landers, none of their players post on here, must be a team rule, if so ,its a good one. There is no way to stop it ,but teams woulld be much better off if they couldn't even read the stuff said on here,
Pujo, these two teams start playing again next year, Buckner was the QB back in 07, Now he's the Coach, Lol
-
Buckner would be a good hire,
-
Oliver Springs was the closest, then Coalfield. Wish we would have got both. 4 teams just don,t get it. Jellico is farther than several but they requested the move.
I don't see how Coalfield and Oliver Springs is closer then Jellico, Coalfield is only about 10 min from OS, I think Jellico can be to Knox before they can, It's only 50 miles.

Even as recent as the 90s, it was common for 7-3 teams to miss the playoffs. When you won a title in the 90s and before, you really accomplished something. (OnB is smiling so big right now).
They need to let the 1st and 2nd place teams in the playoffs, And the rest could have bowl games and split the gate, That would be to easy,
-
The rest will play.
Jellico has 14 Seniors that would love to play another game, We beat their 2nd and 3rd place team Oakdale and Hancock co. If Jellico was in that district we would be playing Oneida at home Friday Night, Lol
-
Let Jellico take their place,
-
One of our veteran chain guys told the coaches at halftime, that one their guys came off the field with somewhat of a sad face and telling a coach..."Their letting a lineman run the ball"...I honestly felt sorry for them, to have an enrollment the size Oneida and can't get more than maybe 25-30 kids to participate in football...That alone makes it hard to compete with any well seasoned team in 1A.
Jellico has 40 players, 8 didn't play tonight, 6 was starters, They still would have loss but Jellico would have been better if they had played,
-
for starters were just having fun and I don't remember any kid getting called out or even getting put down. And I don't know who you are talking about and really don't care if it bothers you then stay off the thread.
Talking about how bad other teams are is putting down players, And It should bother you,
-
I love to hear grown man get on here and put down kids that work their butt off just so they can try to beat teams like GB, Jellico might not be as good as GB but if they keep working hard some day they might be, You know kids do see what you put on here, So Grow Up,
-
Jellico may not win another game but them boys are trying that's all you can ask from them, They have over 40 players17 are seniors this year, I know their not as good as GB and coalfield But This is the best Jellico as been in over 15 years, If Oakdale beats them tonight it will be a long year for them.
-
Coach Buck is doing a good job at Jellico, They are fun to watch and can score fast, After watching Oakdale Play, I think Jellico Wins 32-20.
Why can’t Jellico find or keep a coach?

They play 3 ky teams, Williamsburg's no cupcake team, Lynncamp will win 9 games this year, They played carter and scott when they were in 3a and won 7 games, The Head coach makes around $53k $13K for coaching and $40K for teaching, Not bad for a small school.
