Huge district game at Oakdale tonight vs. Coalfield. I think Oakdale will win this one.

What is the districts gonna be like next year?

You know what is amazing to me? A D2 and Low Major education is about 75K to 125K and all anybody talks about is High D1 it seems. This years LMU team could beat half the SEC.

 

This years 2017 TN class has some ballers. And as far as this thread goes......Tyreke Key just locked up a 105k education room and board. Pretty dang impressive young man. Now go get you some!

Harriman wins this one by 14

I have been waiting for this game since week 1. This game should be a high scoring game. Home field advantage will be a big help for Harriman. I'm picking Harriman to win this one.

Would this game be a good one to go to?

GB by at least 3 tds probably more.

Not exactly brilliant on my part, but GCA is the top team. I think they have the best player in the region in Arnold. I think Coalfield has given them back to back tight games in region the last couple years, as well as Meigs. But GCA just has a little more to work with most of the time than the small publics in region 2. WB and Harriman have a couple really good players, but just not the supporting cast. I'm sure with Meigs student numbers, they'll have the bodies, plus the Moore kid...to have a shot at GCA. Having said that, GCA is a heavy, heavy favorite. 

Don't forgot about Oakdale.

Basketball is getting close! This region is gonna be exciting to see how it turns out. What is everybody's thoughts about how this region will turn out?

Depends on match ups.If a teams strength is the others weakness ,it can cause problems. Seams as though Kings was thought to be the favorite but Oneida.s strength  caused them lots of problems.As always,good luck to the Injuns.

I'm not sure which one will be more exciting when Oneida plays Harriman and when they play Coalfield. 

I'm thinking Oneida is at least 3rd best in district if not 2nd.

I don't see them them being 2nd or 3rd in the district. They will be 4th at best, maybe even 5th if they get beat by Midway.

Jellico shouldn't even show up for this one. 

Oakdale had a rough one last Friday night, but I think they will get the W Friday.

I think there will be a whole lot of points scored in this one.

So do I it's gonna be a fun one to watch. I just hope that Oakdale opens up the playbook tonight, and throws the deep ball more. They got a wide receiver that needs the ball he's long and athletic. I don't think they'll be able to cover him.

1st qb is out. Backup came outta the Cloudland game late for precautionary reasons but is expected to play and may be the more mobile of the 2 and has a decent arm with less experience at quarterback. Could be a break out game for him

I see him having a good game tonight. Oakdale needs this W tonight.

Whats the injury situation with Oakdale tonight? I had heard they were pretty beat up after the Cloudland game.

They're all a little banged up. I'm not sure what they're gonna do at the QB position tonight.

Jellico may not win another game but them boys are trying that's all you can ask from them, They have over 40 players17 are seniors this year,  I know their not as good as GB and coalfield But This is the best Jellico as been in over 15 years,  If Oakdale beats them tonight it will be a long year for them.

 

I've watched some highlights from their last 2 games. This Jellico team is definitely the best one they've had in a long time. They're just in a loaded region.
