Let me further enlighten you there bud… you definitely have a reading comprehension problem and probably are in real life a Marty Huggins type… PS : you’re wife really liked the freezer;-)

You did a great job of dodging the question/comment that I posted. Just wanted to make sure you knew that you could go down there and talk to Hackett whenever you want instead of calling him out behind a keyboard. #Huggins2024

Spot on… but typically when you see numerous penalties, missed tackles, etc… that’s on the coaches.

Listen… I think Hackett has done a really good job at H2O and I know the talent is down.

I just don’t think it’s right to pin all the issues you’ve seen this year on the kids.

I typically don’t comment on ignorant post on this message board and I normally just ignore dumb people but you H2Oman have forced my hand. Not only is your lack of football IQ evident by your posts but you also sound like someone who has had a secret beef with Coach Hackett and you have finally found an opportunity to highlight this man when his team is having a bad season. I know the guy personally from when my kid played for him. He is the first to give kids the credit and will take any blame anyone wants to throw. I know how hard this guy works and I know his office is wide open for any keyboard warrior that wants to talk ball. so if you want to discuss football he would be happy to do it with you. I even have his contact info if you want to set up a time?

Meigs County plays in a very hard class. They will not be going to state because of Alcoa. Where is rainbowland? I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.

Right now Meigs County is rainbowland. Alcoa vs. Giles County in the 4th round. Heard it here first.

So if Meigs beats Giles, are they extra loaded? Not sure how that works.

More loaded than an O'charley's baked potato.

I may be a Meigs homer, but I think this is our best chance to hang with Alcoa.  I am not saying we can or will, just that it is our best chance.  If we can get a team like Alcoa in a close 4th quarter game, anything can happen with these kids.

I hate to break the bad news to you, but Meigs County won't be able to even get that opportunity because Giles County is loaded. Giles will beat Meigs by at least 2 scores. Heard it here first.

    Little Marty,

Show me on the doll where the mean blue tiger hurt you

i know you’re older than 25 so I’m sure you have fond memories of playing Gordonsville

    Little Kittie Town,

Close the yearbook and come back to the present. I could have sworn the Blue Kitty fanbase were the same ones telling Smith County fans last week to quit bringing up the past, but that's ok. I actually have fond memories of beating Gordonsville when I played at SCHS, and now my son shares those same experiences as me except he wears purple & white. I guess you could call it a family tradition  :D

That's interesting KC had less passing yards and more rushing yards than the Eagles. Who won?

Last time I checked the Kansas City Chiefs won, but I am sure that game has not been shown yet in Gordonsville/Carthage.

  7. 2015 - 28-12 WHS

    2016 - 41-15 WHS

    2017 - 20-0 WHS

    2018 - 48-8 WHS

    2019 - 19-13 WHS

    2020 - 14-7 WHS

    2021 - 9-16 GHS

    2022 - 28-13 WHS

    2023 - 17- 6 WHS

Is this series even a rivalry anymore? The most points G-Ville has scored on WHS the last 8 years is 16 points and I am pretty sure 7 of those points came from the punter dropping a snap in the endzone. Some things never change and they will not change Friday. Watertown - 17 Gordonsville/Carthage - 6.

Rumor has it Watertown is going old school this week.

If this is true then I like it! I heard the opposite for the blue kitties. Word on the street is G-Ville has abandoned the run game and are full on Hal Mumme air raid. Can anyone from Carthage/Gordonsville (Whatever you all call it) confirm this rumor?

My son played the whole game with his jersey sleeve on the side of his pad and it didn’t get called once. Bad calls boohoo, jasper looks great in November though by the way! I’m pumped y’all get to make the trip there

We appreciate it! We are happy that you all will get to choke at home this year in the playoffs. Just make sure you all pay the light bill before the playoffs start! #Huggins2024

It was not the same offense as last year it was version of it and to be honest with you BRAYDEN COUSINO HATED IT! This will be my last post i’m getting off of here. I just hate it for the kids. Not one coach has said I have to do a better job...... NOPE they blame it on the kids.

I'm sure you will come back and start posting again once WHS starts winning again? Or do you sit and wait for them to lose, so you can use your sub-par football IQ to tell other people how bad people are at football. You my friend, are what we use to call back in my day at Gallatin, a frontrunner. #Huggins2024

Checking back over the records Watertown has had 1 losing season over the last 11 years and over the last 4/5 seasons has pissed away more changes and opportunities than a cat with 9 lives. Then for some reason they come up with a brilliant idea to change offensive schemes a sorry offense that has scored 38 points in 4 games. The thing that really has my soup stirring is naming Cody Evan’s the OC. What has he done? besides beat the kids down?  Guys sit back and watch this is only gonna get worse.  Whites Creek might pull this off and if they do the whole staff should be fired.

Since you are the Bear Bryant of CoachT what would you do with this Watertown team? What would you change on Offense and Defense? I have only seen WHS play once this year in their opener, but I could see from the start they did not have the players that they have had. Is that the coaches fault? Also, your football IQ really shows every time you mention the offense because I am pretty sure WHS is running the same offense from last year. Which I am assuming you had no problem with last year considering they won the region and made it to the quarterfinal game again. So please share some more of your "football knowledge" with us on this board. #Huggins2024 #Huggins4President

Josh Hackett will have the defense ready to play. I’ve said it before, but he has their number. The closer to Thursday we get, the better I feel about this game for Watertown. A few on here had some negative comments about the offense after week 1, where y’all at with that nonsense now? Tigers run their streak over westy to 10. Book it.

I’ll tell y’all what. Josh Hackett may be the most interesting man in class 2a football. I heard one time that the Dark was afraid of him. I heard Superman wears pajamas with his logo on them. I heard he brought a knife to a gun fight just to even the odds. I would like to formally invite Josh Hackett to be my VP. #Huggins2024

Ok hear is my take. Being at the creek bank TC has to be the favorite. I think Gville defense is pretty stout and this will be an old fashioned beat em up football game. For giggles I am saying TC -6 O/U 33.5....what do you think about the line?

Give me the under if TC comes out in their new "Jets" spread offense.

  14. Sorry I haven't gotten to respond to this thread. I have been on the campaign trail for the last couple of days. At the end of the day TC dodged Upperman like a fat person dodging a salad. It is what it is, but everyone knows the truth. Also, I have seen TC once in person this year and Gordonsville once in person this year. TC plays a cupcake schedule and if they come out in their new "spread" offense they may not cross the 50 against G-Ville. Looks like the TC offense is searching for something and they better find it before Friday night. I can assure TC in my year and a half of watching football that their spread offense will not work. #Huggins2024

  15. Finally....... Game day! Watertown travels to Upperman as road underdogs without a chance from anybody. I seem to remember another underdog that had no chance from anyone against a four-term congressman in North Carolina's 14th congressional district. Cam Brady was untouchable they said, until I put my head down and started to work. Bring your brooms Watertown Fans cause it's a mess! Watertown- 21 Upperman- 14.

The world, this country, state, and the area we live in are just full of who wear their feelings and emotions on their sleeves.

I may not like Cam Brady but when he was asked what's it all about and he responded with," Jesus, America, and Freedom." #MartyHuggins24
