Can you guys really say that you can 100% tell in the video that he was down? Cmon man, there is no way

The cell phone video I seen that was taken by a Watertown fan standing on the fence at the goal line, clearly shows the kid laying on the ground then reaching the ball to the goal line. I really wish JacketNationFan1 could figure out a way to put it on here.

6'1/6'2 long lanky kid that can fly, pretty shifty when running the ball, he may pick up some late offers from the OVC, he's a special football player for sure, our line is our biggest asset though

The offensive line is the biggest problem with the offense. TC will go as far as the O-line takes them. Play calling is not the problem. The O-line missing crucial blocks on crucial plays is the problem. As well as blocking on the edge. TC struggles blocking athletic LBs (ex Lebanon, Watertown, Whittville). With as much speed as TC has, they should be breaking 3-4 long runs a game (against quality opponents). But instead blocking hasn't been good enough. The O-line seems like a bunch of good, strong kids but for whatever reason they have not played up to their potential.

The last play was a kneel down in the ole Victory Formation, something Watertown hasnt done on the Creekbank in a very long time. Not sure if this is a shot at TC or if you are getting this game confused with some other game.

TC and H20 need to not over look the other Region opponents. I got word from someone up in Westy that they believe they have the scheme to beat both teams. If either team thinks it will be a cakewalk against the Eagles, better think again. And ER gave TC all they wanted last year.

Long Story short, these are high school kids and never say never. IMO region is not over until Week 11.

Prayers for a good report for Webster today. And Hopefully Seay is good to go soon.  I was not in attendance but Cheese and Cameron kept me updated on FunRadioTN app! Sounded like some haymakers were being thrown.

I called a TC victory so here you go....

I'm sorry.........I mean the 4th down play where Watertown scored the TD at the end.

  4. Michael Dallas, whose little brother Chase was a Jacket, graduated in '06. I believe your probably thinking of Adam Patterson. Both excellent players! Looked back at scores earlier and MC that year went 12-2 with losses to Portland in week 2 and Knoxville Fulton in the Semi's. They had an awesome kicker as well that booted a 50 something yarder (maybe in both SC games but i know in the quarter final game) to win as time expired. Interesting thing about the MC/SC games that year and the few before it, Coach Pat Dyer (RIP Coach) was HC at MC and his son Matt was a 2 way starter for SC. Im sure on those game weeks it was a little awkward around the Dyer home.

Their RB that year was actually Hudson. FB was Law. Dallas was only a sophomore that year and was a backup.

  5. Thegame2, sorry to correct you but 2003 we were beat by a much better MC team that went to the Semi's. Probably one of the best teams to play in MC. TT's final season was in 2002. He is a graduate of '03. those Tigers in '03 were pretty tough. By TC standards, we had a off year going 7-4 i think and falling at Grundy in R1 i believe.

I don't think in 2003 that MC was that much better than TC. I believe the score was only 21-7. TC was playing a ton of talented inexperienced weak sophomores while MC was playing a boat load of strong experienced seniors. MC had a the ball bounce their way a lot that season. They were fun to follow in the playoffs that year. MC had a bunch of good kids that year.

  6. You really should get out of Hartsville sometime and watch some other teams. NCS lost to White House Heritage for crying out loud. Macon would have beaten TC soundly this year and NCS would have went down as well. No doubt about it. I didn't say it took a down year for Macon to win, but it would be nice for Trousdale to step up and play when they are a little down and not run and hide. I don't think you were down in 2014, 2006, or 2003. If I am not mistaken, all those games were played on the creek bank as well. Macon can win when their talent is up, the trouble is we don't have that kind of talent coming through here very often.

Matter of fact, TC was down those years. Whether TC dodged MC or not, that was on Creasy. MC sure has dodged pretty good over the years, whoever the coach may be. Yes MC would have beaten TC last year. Only because of coaching. Not because of talent. I love MC fans lol. They are always so optimistic especially when they had a decent year. Not to mention they have one of the best players to ever come through there.

  7. Roy what kind mess is this? You know he can't win any gold balls at GT. He's even bringing some of them college yellow jacket players to TC so they can win a gold ball too. With them college boys I guarantee you TC will be real strong and real fast. You think I'm joking but I'm not. And don't you go telling that Childress man either. It's been way too long since TC has won one of those gold balls.

  8.

The impression I get from all of this job hopping and the locations is that he is trying to build up a resume to get a better college job down the road. By having connections to all these different communities in multiple states it gives him something to sell in terms of recruiting. Having coached in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and now Tennessee and looking to get into a different part of Florida and also into Texas and Arkansas.

Also I seen from a lot of these articles where he coached D-1 prospects at many of these schools. Of which Trousdale County has a couple currently on the roster. Something else that he can put on a resume down the road for a college job.

Excellent research! Now I see things a little differently. Not saying you are wrong though. But I see a guy chasing a coach dream (GT). He was young and single and never thought twice about picking up and moving. Now was switching jobs all the time the right choice? Probably not. But maybe he thought taking the next job would help him get to GT. It also doesn't bother me that he also applied for several other jobs this past year while st GT. He has had a taste of the college game and maybe it isn't all he thought it would be. He's now married with a kid about to start school. I'm sure he doesn't want his kid switching schools every few years. Also, always taking a new job doesn't help your connections as far as getting a college job. And he currently does not have any D1 players at TC to help build his resume either. Now I'm not saying I'm right and your wrong. But like I said before, time will tell. He may win a gold ball in the first year or two and decide to stay forever. There aren't many football towns like TC. He will find that out very quick like. And that's good and bad lol.

  9. We all know Creasy tried to leave every time there were openings in 5 or 6A. No one would take a,chance on him until Oakland. There is little respect for 1 or 2 A coaches but fact is they work 10 times harder because of lack of assistants or players.

You are exactly right. He was turned down for several bigger jobs despite winning 3 gold balls.

And everyone wants to give Waggoner a bad rap for all the schools he has been at. But no one seems to remember Creasy was at several schools as an assistant before landing in Hartsville as well. But you know why no one remembers? Because he won gold balls. Winning cures all! Time will tell with Waggoner. He deserves a fair chance from the community.

  10. This is going to be fun, light the match because your program is about to go up in ashes. Apparently Trousdale didn't do their research on this guy. S.O.S. isn't the half of it. They need to call teachers, administrators, parents at these schools. There is an article online from the Crescent City AD that sums it up. Promises, promises, in the end he doesn't care about kids but only to use them to further his career. I'm shocked that this guy is back in high school athletics and that there isn't better research done. Everyone has references that will say good things about them but dig deeper people. SMH....Best of Luck Trousdale! I give him a year maybe two.

Please share the link to the article.

  11. The number 12 is a good round number

Keep the number 12 in the forefront

    2,4,6,8,10, 12

    Billy Bob says.............."I give it a 12! A dang 12"

The most Super Bowls won by any number QB is.........................12

If you subtract 12 from 24, you still get 12

Announcement coming December 12th you guys think? I wish Leather Balls would post more often. At least he posted some names.

  12. Woodmore was not scared. He has helped build a strong program at the Ville and just didnt think he was improving his position by moving back to TC. My opinion at least

You are right in that he has help build a strong program in Adamsville. But he was scared. Just ask him. TC head coach > defensive coordinator at Adamsville and baseball coach. So he would definitely be improving his position. Listen.......Woodmore is a great great guy. I'm just stating the facts.

  13. Lol he took a official visit he verbal commitment you can take ACT test when you are a junior

Haha.....anyone can verbal commit. Doesn't mean you'll actually get the offer when the time comes. He is definitely a man among boys but he sure doesn't play like it. And that's really too bad. The kid could do great things with the right mentality. I sure wish him the best but I just don't see it.

  14. your completely wrong about that TC has a QB just a different type than Dresden and have lot of WR and have few RB our best RB didn't even play RB last year he mostly played WR and didn't get the ball because of personal issues between the coach and player

Dresden's QB will sign a D1 scholarship. Not to mention he was a Mr. Football Finalist. Pretty sure neither TC QB will sign a D1 scholarship or be up for Mr. Football. Both are good athletes but not on the same level as Wynn. I do like your confidence though. ðŸ‘
