Woodmore shouldn't be now. I heard he was scared of getting ran out of his hometown if he didn't win 2 years ago when the job opened. If he is "scared" he didn't even need to apply this time, which people say he didn't apply. And if the "scared" comment is true, I'm not sure Satt would even entertain the idea of him being a head coach at TC.

You obviously have no knowledge of the TC program at all. If Barker was a puppet, he would have had a much better offense for one. Satt gave Barker the keys to the program just like he did Creasy. Creasy was able to keep that well oiled machine rolling. And then to his benefit, left for Oakland. You are obviously letting your personal feelings toward Satt alter your opinion.

Eden is a great guy, I'm assuming. But looks to me like TC needs an experienced head coach. I don't think Eden has ever even called a offensive or defensive snap in high school. That route is too much of a chance like it was 2 yrs ago. I don't think TC wants to take another chance. They need a proven track record with someone.

I heard the same story on some of the other applicants last time as well.

Apparently he was in the final discussions the last time the job came open. But of course didn't get the job. So there has to be a reason he didn't get it. Maybe he has corrected that reason the past two years, maybe not. I guess we will see if he makes the final cut soon enough. But he has made Monterey a respectable team.

I'm assuming they are getting them Jimmy and Joes big and strong.

I wouldn't think so since he is the assistant principal at the high school. Clint Satterfiled is the Director of Schools at TC. His oldest son Wesley is the Off. Coordinator at Austin Peay. The youngest, Blake, coaches the Jr High at TC.

I would think so but there are not many options. May be forced to go outside the program again. If so, this coach better be the 100% correct choice or TC will never be the same. But it looks like TC will have a coach by Christmas. Clint is only taking applications until 11/21.

Your guess is as good as mine. All I know is it isn't about the X's and O's but the Jimmy's and Joe's. TC needs a coach to make them Jimmy's and Joe's tough again.

I agree. High school football stats are very deceiving. #35 or #12 for NCS last year could have each had 2,500 rushing if they had the same opportunity as a great player on a mediocre team. But yet NCS had just enough other decent players, they were able to keep #35 and #12 touches to a minimum and keep them healthy during the season. They had a bigger goal in mind. But I do not want to take away anything from any of these kids with great stats. I am sure all are well deserved of the nominations. It is a great honor and experience no matter your stats.
