How about getting the man some help in the building , imagine leading a team to a state championship with no assistants in the building and teaching freshmen all day. Sounds like they love him there . Metro will be Metro .

They battled injuries all year long, they played their last 5 games with out their starting QB, RB, and OL. Nobody recovers from that . The Covington kid missed the rest of the season , QB missed the last 4 counting the playoffs. Firebird if you think you can score 40 points in 5A or 6A football without Several starters then your eggs must be scrambled. They scored 40 on you all and “gifted“ you 21 points as well I was there . You beat East without several starters you wouldn’t have beat , Gallatin, Shelbyville, Ensworth , or Beech with your starters being out . 3A is not anywhere as tough as 5A . Reflect back to the year before they beat Indy , Beech , Shelbyville ( which they never have before ) as well. Quit bashing a guy you really don’t know , no one bashed your staff for being absent in the state championship game and not scoring an offensive point again and giving up an average of 35 in both games . Hillsboro will miss him just like Overton did. He is a good coach in and off the field . Good Hopefully HB DC will stay . Good Luck to Stewart and the East Eagles .

This is a long process for both whites creek and East, maybe it’s the board that has slowed the process. 
East Nasty don’t talk about no ones coaching , there wasn’t a guy on staff capable or knowledgeable enough to even stiff a head coaching job . EN has had some of the best talent yet falls short every year. why ? Because of coaching . So cut the sour grapes talk on other coaches . Maybe if you got certified and didn’t have to do campus security or work 3rd shift at another job you could become a HC.  I agree with the previous post it’s guys like you that got Waite in this situation . Good luck to East on their search either Stewart or Moreno will do good with the right help. Both are good guys and great coaches and well respected 

This was the best game I've seen all year. Both teams fought through adversity and put on a show. It was very entertaining. A lot of skill and speed. It got chippy and it got emotional. PC is as good as advertised and Hillsboro is the best 3-3 team in the state in my opinion. Losses coming from (PC, Gallatin and Ensworth). If anyone wants to talk about good coaching these two programs looked top notch but metro coaches don't get any credit.  .Looking forward to next week's East and PC game.

Should be a good game for sure . Gallatin is heading in the right direction and seem to have a new attitude , Hillsboro is loaded with talent and should look to rebound after that stomping they took last week . 

PC is the best all around team this year ..

Hopefully East can give PC a good game this year .

Hillsboro got hit on the chin but Ensworth is loaded and their new coach has them rolling . 

CR starting off 0-2 isn't a surprise to me , they have had some big time players on the sidelines . Their QB still hasn't played due to injury . I don't know of many back up QBs that can come in without it being a fall off. If I'm not mistaking their WR transfer has been the QB.

Stratford in my opinion has been getting too much credit I don't see the hype other than their RB Especially after a loss to a less talented FRA.

This is a game everyone has been waiting for . I can't choose a winner and feel 100% confident in it . PC looked good and CR has been a top tier team year in and out since Woods arrival . 

I hope PC doesn't make that move to 2A it would look bad on their running from the hill they haven't got over yet . Winning a 2A title with the number of kids and player type they have wouldn't be impressive IMO. That would be the easy way out but hey I'm not their admin or coaches. If that's their way of getting a title then I guess that's what they will do . 

Don't know him personally . Hopefully if he is this thought of he will apply

That's pretty late and A bad deal for mcgavock. Is he stepping down or retiring . Mcgavock could still be a power house in my opinion.

As far as Antioch big Bear and little Bear is all drama and neither Overton or Antioch needs that . One is in everyone's business and has not regards and the other wants to cheat his way in.

The carousel is warming up. Hillwood is open , with it moving to Bellevue in a couple years that could be a good gig. Wonder how the Antioch and HL search is going.

True statement, HL will continue to suffer with the current Admin in place. A school once so successful has came to shambles all cause of admin. Antioch will have several applicants I expect a metro assistant to get this one .

Williams was successful at Blackman, but that was as an assistant. I agree with about the Antioch job but the previous hires have not panned out. Hillwood will be a sought after job when they move to Bellvue. I thought Brown was the coach in waiting at Hillsboro.

Who has the scoop on any Metro movements ? This time of year we are all hearing something.

East played well and held Maplewood offense under control... They are better than people expect....

Hillsboro was off and you could tell.. they had several fumbles and couldn't get it going. Their defense is one of the best around I will say that.

CR is back like they never left . Offense is explosive 

Pearl will be back to the 4th round
