Those coaches also aren't winning any games . But continue to be looked at as great coaches. How? Brunetti, woods, Fitzgerald and Broome are the only coaches that have taken a metro team to state as a HC. Why wouldn't kids and parents want them at their school. Quit complaining and build a program period!

You guys are also well coached . They prepare well and have good adjustments. I'll be the first to admit when I saw Wallace transfer I said well that might hurt them alot. Hats off to you guys and good luck

Overton has no offense or defense and seem a little unorganized

Cane Ridge is battle tested and pushed through adversity and a challenge from a good team

Pearl did what they were suppose to do against a team they shouldn't be playing 

Maplewood is better than advertised. They looked good and efficient. Their OC gets the ball around 

East is a shocker but not so much. They are way more athletic this year and finally get points on the board 

Hillsboro gave BA a game. From the radio report they were down 8 going into the 4th. They fumbled first play of the game that gave BA 3 points and then they botched a snap on punt and gave BA the ball on the 1.

Hillwood will be able to score some points with their weapons on offense but can they hold enough.

Didn't hear a report on WC but the score was rough .

 

Could be exciting this year for metro football... CR PC MW HB EN could all be contenders.

fb247 is connected to Overton . He knows the coaches , coaches there or friends with them. He never bashes them like the "other" schools

Saw that as well. Big Ma been doing this a while there is no way he brings him aboard if he doesn't bring anything to the table. Overton issues were definitely not  from that coach. But in due time we will see

Agreed! I like what they are doing and the new oc is good and energetic. In due time they will be rolling. #15 Smith will be electric with the ball

I think they all have a chance to get to the big dance but winning it is another issue. i would think HB has the least difficult path. This could be a good year for metro. 3A PC could get over the hump if defensively they hold up.  4A Maplewood has a ton of talent and have been battle tested, 5A Hillsboro will return one of the best defenses and could go far if they can score some points, and 6A CR is back like the haven't skipped a beat. They battled and held their own with Oakland last week. It should be an exciting year this year for metro.

Really wish Metro would play metro more... CR vs HB, HB vs MW, MW vs CR, PC vs MW, PC vs HB, PC vs CR, Overt vs HB , Mcg vs HB... The old NIL days or old metro have you.  It would be nice to see the hype again

yes, heard a lot of good things and hope they do well but I'd imagine that would be tough for anyone to deal with but hey its still the same dimension on the away field as the home field would be if you ask me.

Just heard there will be some changes at HB... New OC from a neighboring school just down the road. Look forward to seeing the Burros this year they return a lot of talent .  Cant wait for the pigskin talk and expectations to get back rolling. Any more news for any other metro schools?

I really hope you guys are kidding ... I love him being in Burro Land... And please don't ruin my hopes for the program saying he is the successor.... I'm no coach but I've played and  know a little ball this guy seems clueless. I made every game except 2 and their offense changed each weEk. I don't know him personally but I hear nothing good but hey I'm just a fan and long time metro guy. I really hope Fitz stays , he really cares about the boys over the years watching him.  I think they have a great core of young men returning . Defensively they were very fast and athletic and well coached , offensively like previously stated was a melting pot of things but the RB was great, with him gone I wonder what it will consist of .. Looking forward to a little pigskin, GOOD LUCK TO FITZ AND THE BURROS 

Sorry didn't mean stomping grounds as going there I meant working . Probably should of used a better phrase ... Can't argue with any of that at all... Looking forward to some pigskin... I miss it...

 Hit the nail on the head on a couple programs .... SSDD....  Workin progress old stomping grounds as a coach is very disappointing seems to be plenty athletes.. Fitz is winding down and I'm sure collecting two checks sounds nice to him.... I do believe the top 3 teams in metro will be CR PC HB this year ... Mcgav could be better and hopefully overton will be too, it was very uncharacteristic of them last season ... The rest of the programs will be a tough cookie to figure out 

Questions That Need Answers :

How good will CR be after losing alot on defense

Can PC bounce back?

How will HB be year 2 with Fitzgerald

Can over comeback from their worst season in school history?

Can Maplewood repeat a successful season?

Will East Nash compete? They have been quite disappointing here lately 

Mighty quiet on here lately .... Will there be no changes in metro this year

A whole different animal! Well coached , disciplined, and sound.... I look forward to seeing the game 

I honestly think this one is going to be a blowout early... Springfield had a good year but man GREENEVILLE IS LOADED AND GOOD!

But when those guys have to out coach someone they never have in those 5 straight semi finals. Anybody could coach y'all's roster against y'all's opponents for the last 8 years and get put out where y'all do every year.  Having the best kids can only get you so far was my point. Look forward to seeing you guys signing day MLK kids really depend on you guys help getting them into college, PC helps them alot on getting those 27 ACT scores. Lol you guys kill me.

You won't ever be like these schools cause y'all have everyone's kids which brings more to the point of where is the gold ball? Brunetti is a good coach ain't taking nothing from him but LIKE I SAID y'all never win the big game when the talent is even. It's facts. Don't get mad. Y'all moved down to 3A for the easy way to state and still didn't get there... Y'all should say PC beats Everybody ...until it matters....  

Good luck Cane Ridge... That's real coaching going on in that program....

Lol not a Cane ridge guy at all I just acknowledge FACTS ... But let's so played a tough schedule and went through the fire and beat alot of quality opponents. Theyre discipline and their staff don't fight each other during the game which allows the kids think it's ok for them to do. Their roster isn't from all over Nashville. They compete at 6A and not run from competition ... You talk about ppl running from playing y'all but y'all ran to 3A for the easy way. And then cry " we are a 3A school " you have 100 kids on you're team not all from your school (MLK) and over half ain't zoned so everybody is sick of y'all excuses and PC VS EVERYBODY.  Y'all all talk ... Congrats on being regular season Nashville champs that's y'all trophy every year . It's a joke.
