  1. Trousdale County...

    W1: @ Lebanon

    W2: Friendship Christian

    W3: @ Watertown*

    W4: Gordonsville

    W5: @ Westmoreland*

    W6: @ Macon Co.

    W7: East Robertson*

    W8: @ Whitwell

    W9: Cascade*

    W10: Bye

    W11: Jackson Co.*

Some challenging non-region games against natural rivals and bigger schools. Should help come Nov.

just looking at this schedule not taking injuries into consideration I see a undefeated team this year with what Gordonsville and Watertown graduated last year but Gordonsville has a great RB and when it comes to Trousdale VS Gordonsville they play up to each other lvl but I think this year Gordonsville lost to much last year and Hartsville has to much fire power for Gordonsville this year
  2. LOL This is why this was a great decision for both schools. These games are gonna be packed and might put some fire in the belly at Lebanon. Especially with their coach having been at Smith County.

Lots of silly notions from fans on both sides.

There is a belief of some Lebanon fans that they won't have problems against a smaller school. Go ask Warren County how that works against Dekalb County or Portland against Westmoreland. And Lebanon has lost to Warren County and Portland while Dekalb County and Westmoreland aren't as good as Trousdale County.

I looked it up during the playoffs to see how many 6A schools had played 1A/2A schools and what the record was against those schools. The 6A schools were 7-5 against 1A/2A schools. So yeah it hardly means anything just going off of size.

On the flip side there is some belief that Lebanon and some of these bad 5A/6A schools are comparable to the bottom teams in 1A/2A. That isn't the case either.

The comment was made earlier that Lebanon wouldn't have a winning record last year playing against the Trousdale Co. schedule. I don't think that was meant as a serious comment. But will give that a look anyways.

Westmoreland - They are about on par with Portland who Lebanon beat handily last year. I say Lebanon wins this game.

Clay Co. - They went 2-8 got beat by a lot often. Lebanon wins this game.

Upperman - They lost by 7 to Dekalb Co. who blew out Warren Co. who blew out Lebanon. I would say this one would be a toss up.

Jo Byrns - They were down last year I would give this one to Lebanon.

Gordonsville - They were pretty good last year and only lost to very good football teams. I think they would have beaten Lebanon.

Monterey - A bit of a down year Lebanon would win this game as well.

Pickett Co. - Lebanon wins by blowout against a 1-9 team.

Middle Tennessee Christian - They only lost to very good football teams like Gordonsville but were not as good. I would say this one a toss up leaning towards Lebanon.

Red Boiling Springs - Lebanon wins by blowout.

Nashville Christian - Nashville Christian wins by blowout. They would have beaten 3/4 of the teams in the state last year.

So yeah 6-2 with 2 more games being toss-ups where I would likely lean Lebanon.

These teams haven't played since 1970. They have played 28 times with Lebanon holding a 18-10 lead in the series with most of the games being played in the early 1900s. They played a 4-game series from 1967-1970.

    1967 Lebanon 10 Trousdale Co. 0

    1968 Trousdale Co. 14 Lebanon 7

    1969 Trousdale Co. 30 Lebanon 0

    1970 Trousdale Co. 24 Lebanon 0

i agree with you but Jo Byrns and MTC would beat Lebanon and I was counting the playoffs as well and I know they would have lost to Hundington and for Monterey would beat Lebanon that's a 5-5 record with the whole schedule but we will never know I just know that Tac is more than 2 TDs better than Lebanon
  3. those would've been homecoming games

i think your forgetting that their wasn't 6 classifications all the time in 90s also TC played against BGA FRA CPA and South Pitt which had NFL players on the team back then and TC played other teams that weren't 1A back then also
  4. I'm speaking of the late 80's early 90's group..again like I told you.I get my info about local happenings via telephone,SM or reunions but left that area years ago moved to west ten 901 and then to the 313

come on now inblate 90s TC team with TC Payne and all of those boys would compete with any team back in 90s you really should know your football history TC had one best 10 years i from 90 to 00 in the history of TN football Lebanon has never and will never be mentioned in same breath as TC football
  5. Mt Juliet Oakland Riverdale Lincoln County Gallatin Stratford Shelbyville Hillwood Lebanon all would've been losses ...Gallatin and Riverdale were eventual State champs of AAA..

Mt Juliet is not the old Mt Juliet and neither is riverdale maybe been losses but we still would have won more games than Lebanon and if Lebanon played TC schduel last year they wouldn't have finish with a winning record
  6. You are right. TC was a little young, but definitely not down. By the end of the year they were a very dangerous team.

they were dangerous because of the sophomores and freshmen on that team that year they lost way to much to be a normal TC team and yes that was a down year just like last two for TC has been a down year any year TC don't make it to 3rd round it's a down year
  7. yall still playing peewee teams? Lebanon will beat you guys.hope that's on ustream

lol that's funny if you'll played TC schedule you'll would still only win 3-4 games first win 5 games then come talk to me who are the peewee teams that TC plays we beat Wilson co at every lvl of football now it's time we show you'll what a real time looks like
  8. Thegame2, sorry to correct you but 2003 we were beat by a much better MC team that went to the Semi's. Probably one of the best teams to play in MC. TT's final season was in 2002. He is a graduate of '03. those Tigers in '03 were pretty tough. By TC standards, we had a off year going 7-4 i think and falling at Grundy in R1 i believe.

i graduated with TT we graduated we are class of 2003 I was using that as the year not the season of 03 so that's on me I was using the graduation year and not he season year and yea that was a down year after losing a Mr football and one of best players that ever played in TC of course it would be a down year
  9. Actually none of the games between 2005 and 2014 were region games. They were all non region matchups. MC and TC played week 1 for 10 straight seasons, but in 2015 it changed. What caused this change? We both played non region games week 1 in 2015, so the week was open for both. Macon had to travel three hours to play a 6A team from Kentucky who was coming off a 6A state championship appearance, so I don't think that was their preferred game. I agree TC should never dodge MC, but anybody that looks at this honestly knows Creasy and TC dodged MC. We beat you with a bunch of freshmen and sophomores in 2014, so all of a sudden week 1 got filled up with someone else. I admire your commitment, but you know what really happened. I guess if you say it enough maybe it will become true. LOL! I know how you feel, I would be embarrassed too if I was in your shoes.

i don't know why MC was replaced only person that knows is Creasy and he signs two year deal with a different team I don't think it was because he was scared to play MC that last year MC beat TC that was a down year and we didn't have a good season that year if it was up to be TC would play Smith and Macon co every year it's a lot of money and short travel time for all 3 teams trust me I rather play Smith instead of Whitwell and make that 2 hour and 15 min drive but TC always have to travel hours away and out state lot over past 20 years that's normal for TC
  10. I know you are new around here, but if you are going to argue, at least research the schedules. You played us week 1 for many years 2005-2014 to be exact. You did go to Kentucky for week 0 a few years ago, but good ole MC was your week 1 game until they beat you once and Creasy saw what was coming the next two years and dropped us in favor of Westmoreland. I would agree on paper TC should be the favorite this year. We do play week 6, so by that point in the season injuries could come into play.

lol I'm not new to this I'm been on here since 2003 just different name like I said some of those were region games out of 9 games you'll win twice but Creasy was scared to play a team that TC had a 7-2 record against okay lol I'm sure they will come in to play but TC are very deep at Skilled positions this coming up season and the 9th grades will just add to that I know MC knows all about how good TC has been in junior high for past few years not just on paper but the field also TC will show that it's by far the better team at every part of the game
  11. The week 1 date had worked fine for 8+ years. We beat you one time and have everything coming back and we get replaced with Westmoreland. Come on man, just own it. We would have curb stomped NCS this year, now last year would have probably been a different story. I have never said Macon had not dodged TC in the past. I would guess that is probably true, however 2015 and 2016 would have been losses for the Mighty Yellow Jackets and Creasy opted to get us off schedule asap. We still have some players, so don't automatically put a W on the schedule for week 6 just yet. It should be a good game.

we didn't play you'll 8yrs in a row for I first game TC spent two years in Ky two years with westmoreland most of the MC/TC games were region games I don't see TC dodging any team ever I don't know what Creasy did those years but I don't think the reason we didn't play was because he was scared to play you'll I don't think it a automatic W injuries can happen but I think TC is the favorite with returning 8 starters on offense and 9 starters on defense and not counting the great great freshmen class coming in which I think will have at least 1 starter that's a freshmen
  12. You are a complete idiot. There was one kid this year who played in a backup role that did not attend Watertown Schools from 6th grade at the very latest. All of our other kids are Watertown from 5th grade or earlier!

The kids we get in open zone from "other" schools are 95% for our small school environment and academics. (Tops in the County BTW) The other 5% come because they are in trouble and they have a chance to turn things around at a place where teachers know your name. WHS is not perfect by anyright. But a new campus has helped to bring a sense of ownership to our kids and coaches.

Let's not throw any stones before we start talking about yalls sumner co connection and mailboxes with no houses.

    HOOBIE DOOBIE bad curse.

lol that's funny TC has no summer co connection we don't need it to win here in TC
  13. What I know is that Watertown was playing boys that were zoned for LHS. Watertown was an easy W for us all the years they were in our region . But know that they have 6A boys at the 2A level now and their record showed this advantage. Now they are in our region again ( TC) and it's like having to play a private again.

Lebanon needs a coach to get those boys back home. I can't wait to play LHS and get that W.

I'm looking forward to beating both of these Wilson Co schools next season we will show Watertown that they still ain't ready for TC and now Lebanon will know what that yellow jacket stinger feels like
  14. You were down in 2006. I will give you that. The 2003 team was good. If they had been in 2A where they belonged TC would have made a deep playoff run. 2014 team was good too. Team was coming off two straight state championships and had MC at home starting a freshman QB. You lost to a very tough Marion team in the quarterfinals. TC is a great program, the best in our area as a matter of fact but don't act like a quarterfinal appearance is a down year.

thats what other school don't understand quarterfinal appearance is a down year in TC to most fans of TC it's either a gold ball or bust so yea it's a down year to most of fans of TC we have different standards in TC like last season 7-3 record seem like a losing season in TC
  15. I saw the play and no penalty was called. If that is how the rule reads then it is missed quite a bit. It has been explained to me that the hand has to be in the shoulder pads. We have played metro teams for four years now and have seen numerous tackles like this go uncalled. There is evidence, as all correspondence was saved. I know where Macon stands in the grand scheme of things, but for TC fans to get on here and act like they have not dodged anyone simply isn't true. TC is about to be loaded no doubt about it.

i don't think the reason for MC/TC not playing was Coach Creasy the dates have to line up for both teams to play each other Macon I don't understand why you think it's not fair that both school play each other right now Macon could have dodge TC for next 3-4 years and said no we will see you'll next season at you'll field and no you'll wouldn't have beat NCS
  16. You really should get out of Hartsville sometime and watch some other teams. NCS lost to White House Heritage for crying out loud. Macon would have beaten TC soundly this year and NCS would have went down as well. No doubt about it. I didn't say it took a down year for Macon to win, but it would be nice for Trousdale to step up and play when they are a little down and not run and hide. I don't think you were down in 2014, 2006, or 2003. If I am not mistaken, all those games were played on the creek bank as well. Macon can win when their talent is up, the trouble is we don't have that kind of talent coming through here very often.

2003,2006 was when Macon and TC were in same region at the same time that's up to the coaches to schedule the games I think we should play every year Smith, Macon, TC and Westmoreland should be on each other schedule every year and in 2003 you'll didn't beat TC. That would have been TT Harper senior year for the talent coming through Macon co I don't think TC coachs are scared to play Macon co any year no matter how much talent MC has nobody hiding from Macon
