Coalfield played well but at one point the foul count was 9-1 in favor of Harriman and Coalfield played their best ball whenever it got chippy & fast paced and the refs tried evening up the foul count at the end which was awful on their end because the fouls really didn't hurt Coalfield.. McClain & some unknown kid #24 beat Coalfield I had spoke with a Harriman spectator said #24 can shoot good but he's never shot that good.. he barely missed..

I'm glad to see you fellas picked up the big win tonight! Yes Oakdale swept Wartburg but don't let those results fool you. We both know the history at Wartburg. This team is built for the tournament and they have an excellent coach that's always putting them in a position to win! I think if oakdale and Wartburg were to square off right now it would be no contest! Wartburg is just more complete and they've elevated their play to a very high level!! I think you guys take care of business against them Tuesday night, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see the Dawgs make a couple of runs at the Rams throughout the game. I'm confident that you guys will take this one by 12 or 14 points! Good luck brother! I'm on pens and needles about this matchup with Meigs!! We've got a little revenge on our minds!! This is where our season has ended the last two years, by yours truly, Meigs County!! We feel it's our time to step into the ring and continue this run to The Boro!!! One game at a time! It's do or die baby!!!

No oakdale split with Wartburg

And so it begins!! I can't wait to watch my Blue Devils take on the Jackets tonight! My sister is dating Coalfield Head Coach Jason Hill's son so we've definitely got some tension today!! All in good fun and there's no bad team's left anymore as it's do or die!! Good to luck to the BIG BLUE tonight!!! Survive and advance! My predictions as follows:

Wartburg over Tellico 73-66

 

Grace over Oakdale 91-67

I've gotta stick to my guns

Coalfield over Harriman 74-71

Grace over Oakdale 81-72

Meigs over Jellico 65-48

Wartburg over Tellico 55-49

I've said this all year Harriman doesn't want to see coalfield in the 1st round of region.. the two best teams in 4a played in a consolation game I don't expect Oakdale to beat Grace they can give them a game if they shoot well & actually rebound the ball.. but I won't be one bit surprised if Coalfield beats Harriman, Coalfield will have to hit atleast 70% from the free throw line though..

Well Mr. Coalfield guy OS pulled out a 79-71 win over Coalfield tonight.. now as os secures 6th seed atleast we could see a rematch of these two in district..

These kids shoot ball all year long no matter football season or not.. they all play AAU or take gym class where they shoot ball that's not an excuse in the second game. Kilby is better then Carroll but he also adds a lot of fouls and doesn't play his hardest for that coaching staff but that's another story.. kilby could of added four point but he coulda also added 4 fouls

Parker is the best player in the district.. with or without that extra starter it still doesn't make Coalfield better to me. But will see come district time. I'm a fan of coalfield I love to watch them play. I just know that they haven't beat oakdale in 3 years now. Next year they'll own the district but as for this year I still think oakdale has the upper hand.

Wartburg may go 1-1 in a season series with oakdale but right now you can't say coalfield is better then Oakdale because they haven't beat them in 3 years now.. Coalfield is good but I don't know how you can say their better the Oakdale.

I also believe that at 100% coalfield beats OD by 10+

Doubt will see that Wartburg will knock Coalfield out in the district tournaments it's at wartburg & Joe Lane teams have that mojo going at home in the district..

Cah09 oakdale played Harriman & fell by 2 points when Harriman was healthy please tell me how they have no shot?

They are Oakdale kids but one moved to Coalfield this year the other went to Coalfield back in Middle school so no use in calling him an Oakdale kid no more.. but regardless Oakdale won & Oakdale has been Harrimans toughest competition this season because of the matchup I could see oakdale winning region.. Coalfields a great team they just don't matchup against oakdale well due to Maverick Smiths versatility in the post

No...if they were OD kids, they would be at OD. They are not, so they are NOT OD's kids.

If kid X goes to elementary school Y...it's not a LIFE SENTENCE. People do not have to live in the same place forever. One of those kids went there in 5th grade...he's a junior, goodness,6 years ago...A school does not own/control a family's decisions forever. The other moved this year...so be it. I noticed one from CF at another school back in the fall... he/she moved away...that's it...it's over.
